Has anyone noticed changes in the way zone poker plays? I'm playing at 25nl and now my 3 bets get called a huge amount of the time, while they used to get folds quite a bit more often, compared to a couple months ago.

I guess I'm wondering if the population has actually changed with time (due to phones now allowing non-zone or bovada no longer advertising?) Or if there is any kind of purposeful segregation in zone?

Also I don't know if this is the right to ask this, but is anyone actually crushing 25nl or 100nl zone? Like 5bb/100+ at 100nl? I've read all sorts of posts of 10bb/100+ a year ago, and am wondering is this is still possible.

The second part is an affirmative. $100 is soft as ****.

100NL Zone: It's a sh*t-show of variance. You will see people post on here on occasion that it is printing money but most if not all are on a variance trip and get smashed and you don't hear from them again.

Zone timebanks: Bad idea, only gripe is when I'm on the river trying to deconstruct villain's range and run out of time. But with that, it's still a bad idea.

Agree with daedalus for once about 100nl zone not being a fishfest. It would be nice to have a 10 sec timebank though.

Zone is a massive fishfest but its not possible to get high winrates long term with the rake and lack of info. Even if you are playing a bunch of -100bb/100 guys you still don't know who they are every hand so you cannot ever play optimally.

I actually have a friend who is a winner at 100-200 zoom on stars. Been pro on it for 2years. His winrate at zone is under 5bb(it's so swingy we cant tell yet if its 1.5bb or 4bb) and its very swingy. His 17-20bb/100 at reg table is worth a lot more and is a lot less stressfull

Thought the site was supposed to be down for maintenance this morning. Must be they meant just the website. Anyway, disconnects are happening more frequently than normal today. Anyone else having a similar problem?

Hows the card catcher working nowadays? Last time I tried it it was buggy and missed hands, but that was over a year ago and I'm sure they have improved it by now...

I'm playing more reg. tables instead of zone lately and a hud would be useful

Why does Bovada sometimes not let you post blinds when you miss two big blinds in 6max tables? And boot you out?

I thought you can miss two rotations? This happens to me at least couple times a week.

Iso relax. The guy was asking for advice on how 100 Zone plays and I was just giving him my experience. I've experienced multiple 10-20 buy-in swings in that game. And the swings are over a day or two, not like 10k hand swings.

Finally stopped when I figured out that the rake was the big winner. Agree with your point that skill mitigates negative variance.

Not sure what is happening with Bovada, but when I download the program and open it, everything looks messed up and scrunched together.

You can see how everything is scrunched together.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Have tried reinstalling several times. And the same issue has happened on 2 separate computers (One Windows 7, the other Windows 8)...and it works fine on a 3rd computer (Windows 8) and fine on a 4th (Mac).
