When i search VFF all kinds of stuff pop up that say how easy it is to send money for whatever $ to VFF enabled cards, as in, it's a way to send $ service, seemingly similar to wiring $ only supposed to be easier and cheaper, and it's advertised as a faster easier way to send $ abroad. and that people could/are receiving payments to VFF enabled cards all around the world for any # of reasons- business to consumer, consumer to consumer, business to consumer, consumer to business.. so I would think that a major bank ought to know this and not be looking at it as a refund for a purchase but maybe it's more of a rest of the world thing and usa banks don't know what it is and are thinking it's something else. Or maybe it's the other answer and that the vff sender is doing something weird ( I think some person posted earlier that one of their vffs said something about a refund or reward on it? which is def weird)
Yeah, it seems very strange to me. Like I said I just withdrew with VFF a month ago and it went through no problem. On my bank description for the last one the word "refund" was in there for the last withdrawal. This current cash out is in my posted transactions but the funds are not available and it has the word "reward" in the description for some reason. Seems odd to me.. I am still waiting for another response from Bovada's withdrawal department and this is becoming very frustrating.

The debit card I used was the standard Visa card that my bank issued me when I opened a checking account with them.

I requested a bank wire and was approved around 40 days ago. Never received it and bovada is still unable to give me an update. Haven't had any issues in the past with wires.

UPDATE on visa fast fund withdrawal:

Waited 2 days for Bovada to give me an ARN number which my bank did not want, they said they needed a merchant receipt for a transaction(I guess the VFF looked like a refund even though I said it was a payment) or they would not release the funds. I told Bovada this and they made me wait 2 more days after which they just sent me the same ARN number over again. I called my bank to see if they would use the ARN number again, they would not. Ended up having them begin the process to reverse the transaction back to Bovada (did not mention Bovada/gambling). So now I am waiting for the transaction to be reversed and hoping Bovada will actually be helpful and let me quickly cash out via check... Guess it is going to take a while either way.

That is taking unreasonably long. What did bovada say exactly when you contacted them?

I'm about to do my first withdrawal from Bovada via bank wire. However, I'm not 100% sure where I can find the SWIFT code for my bank, and it's asking me for my bank details and for the intermediary bank details. What is this intermediary bank details?

Also, what all info will Bovada want from me before I can receive the wire, and will I have to do anything at my bank?

That is really strange. I thought that wire was the fast easy option? I was actually going to do a wire for my next withdrawal until I read this.

It is fast and easy, not sure what the problem with his is. The longest I've ever waited was 13 days or so.

Cashing this check is next to impossible without a regular bank account, getting very upset, hopefully the bank rhyming with base with the blue logo will let me start an account with this check

I won my first decent amount on Bovada (finally) Thursday night. Requested a bank wire. Still hasn't been approved, and now I'm starting to get nervous because of the amount. Maybe I should cancel and just request checks...

Cant figure out this debit card. They mailed me the card, it has no name on it and I have not provided any of my details to the provider yet. When I go to activate the card it asks for email and password. Tried the same info as Bovada and it does not work. When you go to request a password it asks you to put in the 13 digit serial # on the back of the card. I do that and it says not a valid serial number. I am getting frustrated. I sent the prepaid debit card and email but they wont respond

Its from up North, whats the best way to deposit these, ATM or teller. I think I remember seeing the Far East ones can go through the ATM but North had to be teller.

Thanks

Sign the check over to someone that has an account. Go with the person when they deposit it. Get money from person later. Profit.

You can find a lot of this by googling, but just call your bank and they will answer these questions for you if you are worried about giving the wrong information.

No, they have a couple processors. They ship via fed ex and dhl.. the dhl one takes a couple days longer because it comes from much farther away.

Ones from the north don't work in the atm. I always just go thru the drive thru and boom deposit. Easy peasy. Don't even have to look at the teller haha
