[Bodog] Bovada/Ignition payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names) - Page 531 - Online Poker Sites -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Requested on 5/26 and received check from the north on 5/28 (just over 2 weeks ago) and deposited it to major bank. Sent to collections and still no funds available. Hoping it comes in the next few days will update if/when receive funds.

Received a call from my bank that they are waiting on the check's bank to credit my bank with the funds and then they will credit my account. Hopefully I get the funds today would be nice to have for the roll this weekend. Been about 2 1/2 weeks since I requested. Bovada was very quick with sending the check. It only took 3 days to receive. Just sucks when it has to go through collections.

I keep reading about people having problems with cashing and clearing checks. I've already had one bank close my account due to a bad check from a site.

I do not want to have it happen again as I might not be able to open a bank account somewhere else if the same thing happens. Has anyone had major problems with their banks lately?

I play on carbon but need more tables. Just want to know if it is worth the risk.

*For people who are unable to be around to sign for their packages (just in case anyone doesn't know this already)...

For checks being delivered by FedEx, you can type your tracking # in on the website, then hit "customize delivery", "sign for a package", "sign in as guest", and you'll then be able to type in your name which will count as your signature. I assume DHL has a similar feature.

Requested a 3k Check on Sunday, Got it on Wednesday and deposited it the same day. Cleared by next day.

I always say this, but Bovada never stops impressing. By far best American Site with amazing Mtt Schedule and plenty of cash games going all day, including mid-high stakes (5/10 & 10/20) which run very consistently.

I deposited a 3k check with the branch manager on my bank on 6/6 and he told we it would have to go through the collections process. I expected to at least see a pending deposit on my account but there's no trace of it. Is this normal or should I be worried and call my bank?
