The SNG pros that I know all have a bigger winrate in non-turbo games. But, they all prefer to play turbos.

They win less per game, but the games per hour that they can play more than compensates for it.

So, smaller winrate, but more money in the end.

Because they charge a high enough vig that you can't arbitrage

However, from a casual betting perspective (meaning your not doing it to earn a profit, you were planning on betting that game anyway) then yes you can find opportunities to get a slightly better line. Typically its when you want to bet against a big favorite to not cover the spread.

To be clear, I'm not saying more hands doesn't = more money, I'm saying it's not always the case. To each their own..

You don't have to keep defending your statement. More hands doesn't equal more money. Although in most cases it probably does, up until a point.

Just think about as a theoretical exercise. Imagine if you played 10,000 NLH (cash or SNGS) tables at once. I doubt any human could have a positive win rate playing that many tables. Therefore, more hands doesn't necessarily = more money.

Because they have a greater win rate. But individually speaking more hands = more money.

why do they have a greater win rate? why don't they use their greater win rate to make more by playing more hands/hr?

haha I switch colors all the time and its funny because i always go back to blue. I start running bad and change backgrounds to get a fresh batch of variance...then get coolered using that one a few times and switch back. But im blue like 75% of the time.

Black/red1 cards always

na you got it wrong, white/red is the only way + blue blackground. Anything else is just tilt inducing, shieet, i could prolly be on a mad heater and still be mad if my background was a basketball court.

How would you guys say the game softness is on bodog in comparison to that of stars? For someone who doesnt play a lot of volume, would making the switch be worthwhile?

It depends on whether bovada doom switches your account or not.

Righteous this man is. You either love it, or hate it with a passion and hope it burns to the ground. I am in the latter camp

There are actually official Guinness world records for this stuff.

Most hands (cash games) played in an 8-hour session while still showing a profit: 24,493 (that's about 49 hands per minute). He played up to 40 tables at a time. At one point he was down about $1200, but managed to make a profit of $7.65 after the 8 hours was over.

Most Sit'n'gos played in an hour while showing a profit: 62 (all $6.50 turbos on Stars). Came down to the very last table to determine whether or not he'd make a profit. Made $23.90.

Kind of proves a point. If these players who obviously practiced for that feat only wound up winning a very marginal amount, then there has to be a point where too many hands does not equal more money.

Quick question.

I know this issue has been raised before in this thread, I just can't seem to find where it is. My apologies.

The window with the hand re-player is a jumbled mess of text and graphics.
I thought I remembered a solution being mentioned somewhere.

This problem seems to be affecting other windows in the client for me as well.
Most importantly (to me), the tab where you can convert points to tournament tickets. I simply can't read/click on things in that window.

My OS is Vista.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Doesn't prove anything because sit n goes and an 8 hour cash session is nothing when it comes to variance.
