Am I alone in thinking 30 seconds is far too much time to give everyone for cash games? You're limited to 4 tables, it should be pretty rare that you need more than 15 seconds to act, and if you do, you have a timebank.

You get 20 minutes live and 30 seconds is too much online lol.

I'm trying out bovada mobile for the first time today on my iPhone 6. When I hit the zone or cash game button I get three blinking dots that indicates it's loading but nothing happens. I have an original iPad that I tried next. At first it said "application has been updated to the newest software" which my I6 never did. I can see the lobby and select a game, but when I do it acts like it is trying to load the table but just stays a black screen. I have played on carbon mobile on both devices with 0 problems. Tried searching 2+2 and Google and didnt find anything really. I have closed all apps and logged in and out and all that good stuff with no luck. Anyone know what's goin on? I feel like I might be missing something? Thanks!

lol 20 minutes. Hyperbole much? If someone was routinely taking 30 seconds to make decisions at a live table, unless the table was incredibly fishy I'd be looking for another table. 30 seconds is a loooooong time.

I think 30 seconds is appropriate, especially since the bank goes down and takes time to build back up. 30 seconds every hand would be too much, but 30 seconds occasionally is fine. I've definitely had times were I used almost every last second of my time bank legitimately.

(and regarding your live 30 second comment, not sure where you play but when I play $2-5 live on the east coast sometimes it takes 30 seconds just for the person to put their hamburger down to focus on the hand)

It's 30 seconds per hand BEFORE the timebank.

That is one of the things that confuses me about the Bovada "rec model." Seems like it is the recs that get more pissed off waiting for someone to act. Either by typing ZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ or just ranting about how long player 3 takes to act. So a shorter time to act would cater to the recs, I think,

Figured out it wasn't working on my iPhone because I was in a private browser which doesn't work. Got that working no problem. Still no idea on the iPad. Private browsing is off and I get all the way to selecting a table and the screen goes all black and says loading at the top but they never do load. It's an original iPad so it has IOS 5.1 and can't be updated further. From what I'm reading it should still work with that OS. Yes I have it sideways also. Any other ideas?

I think you make a very valid point.

(1) there are many types of rec's. I agree that prob the fishiest of the rec's don't ever use the time bank (because they have nothing to think about). However, many rec's are also trying to play well and I think if you took their bank away they would feel rushed and might stop playing... even if it would be a net benefit for them if there wasn't a bank.

I can imagine situations were even the fishiest of rec's is 1 tabling watching a football game and he needs the time bank just so he can put down his beer and pause the tivo. Even if he only does that once a session it probably worth it to him even if the net effect is to slow the game down.

(2) Even if you take it for granted that time bank is a reg feature (which I disagree with) ... you can still have a rec model that throws a bone or two towards the regs. There are so many rec friendly features of Bovada that letting the reg's keep their time bank seems pretty fair to me even if it is a net benefit to reg's.

Call the 1-866 # that is located in the deposit window. Tell them you are trying to depo. with that card and they should be able to help. They have helped me make a deposit previously, however, it was a few months ago.

Way too long, especially pre-flop in holdem games.

Unless they develop software that changes the time bank based on what game your playing or what street your on (which is LOL if you know anything about their software) then that is irrelevant. You have to base the bank on an average of everything .. that includes the river in NLH or PLO, or 7-stud. I mean, a newbie to PLO probably needs 30 seconds just to recognize what he currently has on the flop, not to mention what he is drawing to or what the other person may have.

The only time it's an issue is when the fish start timing out and time banking near the bubble, any other time it's fine.

Try deleting the app and download it again. I've had it on my iPhone 5 since it came out with no issues. Always rubbing the latest iOS so it's not that I'm running on an older iOS.

Good to know Bovada takes collusion seriously. Got a DoN SnG refund today saying they found collusion and have given me the prize money. I did report one suspicious match a few weeks ago, I wonder if it was that one. They don't specify.

I'm relatively new to Bovada, and I was wondering if there's any kind of table scripting/ arrangement software compatible with the site. Thanks.
