So I'm about to transfer my bankroll from Bovada to Ignition, and I have a question about the $1000 deposit bonus on Ignition that it mentions in the FAQ:

"Bovada players that transfer their accounts before the closure date are eligible for an Ignition Transfer Bonus which includes: $1,000 Casino Bonus on first deposit"

Is this "first deposit bonus" referring to the money I transfer over from Bovada, or should I make a separate deposit on Ignition after transferring my roll from Bovada to get that bonus? Thanks.

To answer my own question if anyone is also wondering the same thing.

The deposit bonus is available on Ignition after you have transferred from Bovada, you have to deposit an additional amount as you normally would.

This happened to me once before. Otherwise I haven't heard of it happening.

In other words, it dealt me in (forced me to post) and then failed to recognise I had done so, and forced me to wait until the BB came around.

Anyone else experienced anything like this before?

I keep having a problem where I sit @ a table & while waiting for the BB it will boot me from the table saying I didn't act in time. Has been happening so much I barely even bother trying to play.

OK, it is entering the third day since I have been able to log into Bovada. I always get the standard "Internet connection" message. I have changed DNS, rebooted, etc. to no avail. Does anyone know if I can make the transfer to Ignition through the website? I have been able to log into Bovada website just not the client. There is a button there, but I have been hesitant to use it knowing at best my points will be left behind and at worst I am caught in a loop requiring client access which I do not have.

If this is still happening on Oct 1 I'm gone , I just want to play poker in peace
110% this. Everything has been MUCH WORSE since they decided they wanted to be all slick and think they could rehaul everything to do the flash/mobile thing. I make harsh comments about it in every e-mail I end up sending to them, even if its unrelated. It probably won't do any good (because they don't care), but there should probably be a day where everyone e-mails them en masse, asking them to roll back the stupid flash platform. It's strangling the site.

It takes like 5 seconds for the table to fill up with nitty regs once short stacker sits down. Just pisses me off. And what a coincidence it wasn't the case prior to BTC introduction.

I've noticed this also. I can't log in to Ignition, I keep getting the "check internet connect"... Then just closes the program. I can log in thru my tablet/phone and play 1 table that way... but other than that, the PC version of Ignition is straight up, garbage. I don't know what to think, hopefully they get their **** together soon.

Same issue with the Internet-- "Can't connect, check your connection" "Unable to establish a connection, please try again later".
The only solution for me is that I have to uninstall and reinstall and then restart my computer, and then I can play, but I have to repeat this every time I exit the client.
I contacted support and they told me they were unaware of any issues (like what the ****, this entire forum is literally people complaining about it).
This software is a piece of ****. They really gotta fix it. They shouldn't be worried about segregating their sports bettors from their poker players; if this keeps up they won't have any poker players left.

That has happened to be a handful of times on Bovada over the last few years, but not often enough for me to investigate why or complain about it. Just one of those random things you have to deal with when playing on this site.

Circle or Bitpay?

So I am about to make my first larger withdrawl using Bitcoin and all my other small transactions have gone great. But I ordered a Bitpay card and I was wondering if it would be better to use that over just going from circle to my bank account. That way I wouldn't even have to use my bank account. Also fees wise it seems like taking the money out of an arm would almost be cheaper than circles fees. Also, it doesn't look sketchy to Bitpay that u just load the card and withdraw it, compared to circle to your bank? Thanks in advance!

At the same time, he does have a point - this thread is constantly filled with people asking questions that have been answered dozens of times before. Checking the last several posts before asking about a current site issue, or using the "Search this Thread" feature for questions that are likely to have been asked many times before would both go a long way to improving the signal-noise ratio IMO.
