Switched to Ignition and now I don't get a beep when its my turn to act. I have toggled many of the settings but nothing seems to work. Anyone else experiencing this / have a solution?

gotta love the bovada chat but tonight was something different. had a lunatic on one of my tables repeating over and over that the "VPNers will soon be gone along with their accounts and money". after they literally typed this in chat atleast 20 times somebody inquired what they were going on about and all they said was "they had spoke to bovada, its a done deal." lol hopefully the lunatic is atleast right

Launching the Bovada client and waiting to see if it connects gives me the same feeling I had back in the 1990s when I was waiting to see if AOL connected after the 14th dialing attempt.

They should really add an analog modem handshake sound to the bovada client to make it interesting.

Only one free cashout check per 3 months with ignition right? If we cashout before 9/30 and transferring can we do a free one in both September and October?

Why don't you leave some money you wanna withdraw in bovada so you can get three free checks for sept and oct? You don't have to transfer your whole roll there.

I am receiving a new Ignition software update right now so looking forward to what tweaks may have been made. The update has taken more than one hour to download so I am doing this while I’m waiting. A few personal observations on lag and latency issues. The Bovada poker servers for US players were based in Canada and now for US Ignition users they seem to be located in Europe. A traceroute shows:

telia.net is a major internet backbone in Europe and from my location this trace shows how relatively slow the data packets to Ignition can be. This is one explanation for my connection issues, table freezes and general lag and latency issues I am dealing with. The internet is choking and getting worse and unless you own a global telecom corp the end user has few options. Do clear your caches often and use a cable to your modem if possible, new hardware and software is not going to make much of a difference. I am giving up having a Ntflx window open next to my poker table.

A side note on the “Drip Bonus,” I switched to Ignition early and had a stray $5.90 show up in my account and like most Monopoly players assumed I got the bank error in my favor card. I then made a small deposit to take advantage of the drip bonus but had not seen the first level $5.00 payout so just to bug their support I emailed them asking about this. Eventually got something of an explanation that admitted they new of this $5.90 software glitch, long since been fixed, and apparently it was applied to my first level bonus. It was technically their money so I’m OK with it. I suppose it was just a pre-drip bonus.

The lobby finally opened, woohoo! Try to remember when your AA is cracked by a runner runner flush right before the bubble try not to take it out on the dog ( or kids.) gl all.

There is a new "we are unable to process your request at this time" pop-up message when my table freezes. Always helpful to remind me of my flaky connection. Of course it doesn't show up for a while either. yay.

I called this morning because I transferred last night and didn't have a ticket yet. The woman I spoke to said it can take 24 hrs. to show up. I said the last tournament will be over by then. She said to keep checking and call again if it doesn't show. Of course, now I can't log in to check.

The bonus was there immediately. But because I can't log in I can't describe exactly where you find it. It's a bonus you have to clear with 100 poker points or $250 of casino action.

Thanks a lot, that explains why they spammed four emails a few days ago saying it was my last chance to transfer to get the ticket. Oh well, can't count on Bo to be efficient outside of finding ways to launder your $$$.

I was able to log in after five tries and my tourney ticket was there. I'm now registered for the tournament.

Is there any legit fix to this "We are unable to establish a connection. Please check your connection and try again." error?

Havent been able to play in 4-5 days. Obviously other people are playing, and I obviously have internet connection. I have tried the "adjust performance" options trick I saw a couple pages back, didnt work. Now the client (starting today) wont even let me try to log in... I open client and then after a minute it gives me the error.

I tried making those changes only to realize that my settings were already what the tip specified, so obviously that couldn't have been the problem. Another reminder that just because something changes its behavior after you take an action doesn't necessarily mean the action *caused* the change. Sometimes it's just a coincidence.

Are you referring to my not being able to even attempt to log in? Because that was happening before I changed it and I was not saying that. I was just saying I tried that one fix already and that didnt work either.

The lag has gotten even worse since the update. I can login with very little problem, but the lag has made tournament play near impossible.
