I've had the same issue all morning. 2 hours now haven't been able to log in.

AFAIK, this now means Ignition Casino is an unlicensed and unregulated online poker site. Does anyone have more info that refutes this?
This is very concerning, especially after last night hearing rumors of DOJ coming after the site...

Does a KGC license even do anything? Aren't they the ones who were licensing full tilt in 2010?

That happens to me often, then I realize my internet is off. Seriously though, it's been slower than usual the past couple days. A lot of the players have been getting fed up and a few tournaments are starting to overlay consistently.

Yeah, I figured that's where it was stalling for me. After a handful of times trying load, it just randomly worked. Once it took over a dozen tries.

plz just look at the post I quoted when I made that post.

I really don't think that's top priority on anybody's list of things to fix. Honestly, I had to open a table to see where it was because I've never noticed before. I don't see what's wrong with it.

am interested in knowing more about why the agreement was voluntarily terminated tho, and agree none of this is ideal
I can see your point, but the timing of it and the fact that nothing has been said by them, Bovada or anyone else AFAIK seems like another instance of underhanded marketing. All of the websites that I've seen write about them tout that they are a licensed and regulated. Which is why I even called it out on this forum and to see if there was a better, more reasonable explanation.

If I had to speculate, I would think this has to do with Quebec Bill 74, which will require ISP's to block unapproved online gambling providers. They are attempting to force traffic to the Espace-Jeux provincially owned gambling site.

I read an article months back that that the Kahnawake reserve feared that their economic stability was going to be severely disrupted by this legislation. As it is, Bodog already pulled out of Quebec many months ago (no longer services clients there).

On another note, I believe there has been, or will be, a constitutional challenge made against Quebec Bill 74, which violates federal law, as well as amount to internet censorship.

There's no way they'll get away with that.

As for how this affects Bodog/Ignition? I have no idea. But I don't think I would panic. It's just some more administrative changes.

Hmm, so this is what was terminated:

"Client Provider Authorization (“CPA”): Issued to approved entities that want to provide interactive gaming services from the hosting facility in Kahnawake. The holder of a valid CPA is called an Authorized Client Provider (“ACP”). There is no limit on the number of CPA’s that may be issued by the Commission. An ACP must be hosted at the hosting facility that holds the IGL and is entitled of offer any type of interactive gaming: eg. casino, poker and/or sportsbook."

Does that just mean that Ignition will not be hosted by the KGC any longer? And I see no mention of Bodog, so I guess it's business as usual there.

I'm also interested in the KGC licenses being terminated. I called the KGC today and left a message requesting a call back, we'll see if they get back to me.

I tried a couple times calling Bovada customer service, but that did not generate anything productive. I'm at a loss as to how else to get real information surrounding why this happened, I personally think the license was kind of a joke but for them to rescind any sort of oversight entirely without speaking about it much is somewhat concerning for me as I keep a decent balance on the site.

I'm not concerned with balances at this point personally, but it would be nice to get some information surrounding why this happened.

I read this on the bodog.eu site:

"100% CERTIFIED

Registered and licensed in the Caribbean Nation of Antigua, Bodog operates in accordance with current Interactive Gaming and Wagering Licenses and is regulated by the Antigua and Barbuda Financial Services Regulatory Commission."

I believe it's been that way for a long time. Though maybe there was a license with KGC before? I don't recall.

the license means nothing, they rent their name out for a fee. if **** hits the fan they wont do anything for you.

Has anyone figured out a solution to the problem where I cannot rebuy chips at the table? I have been getting it a lot since switchig to Ignition... more than on Bovada. It could also be the latest update since I switched around the same time. Vey tilting... I guess the bright side is I get to work on my shortstack play.

It has been asked about, and discussed, many times in this thread. Search "rebuy"
