Must say, there has been a super juicy promotion lately.

Today's a 2k Oktoberfest Freeroll and sunday is a 6000$ Paypal freeroll, open for german members who made a deposit with Paypal (" PAYPAL6000" ). Right now, only 100 people are registered, making the freeroll ticket worth 60$.

The last week this 6k freeroll hadn't that much more entries, so the freeroll ticket's worth was about 35$ after late registration closed.


Oh, and 888 is down again. /nm, works again.

The freeroll tourneys don't have any value for most players, especially for cash game players. I'm an sng player, and even I don't like the freerolls. For example this $2k freeroll tonight, with 8000 entrants...you have to outlast 7600 players, which most likely takes a couple hours, and still, you only get $1. Only the top 3 prices worth the time, but why would a non mtt specialist like me get there?
I really hope the upcoming promos will not going to be about mtt's. Double point days, or something like the merge monthly promo packs would be much better. They should give us double points for the entire month, that would make me sit down and grind all day. Stars did something like that not so long ago, when I could easily hit platinum star - which normally would have been just silver star - and earned a bunch of fpp's.

The Bonusses suck, we know it. I'm a mtt player and that was the only time where a freeroll was worth more than 2$

If you're a winning player, they don't. They'd rather rake the money from losing and break-even players and get ALL of the money that gets deposited without leaking some to winning players.

This isn't how poker works, skill is relative.

Stop sending me promo emails every goddamn day or at least fix your unsubscribe page.

This is true, of course, but it's far from obvious to me what the impact of skewing the skill distribution would be. Remove the top winning players and the break-even players do better, but does that imply that the same amount of winnings would be withdrawn from the site?

i cant belive that there is a 6 table max on your this site, i cant see a reason for doing this. The fish are going broke eventually whether the regs are playing 8 tables or 6, this still creates the same amount of rake. Im gona have to mix some tables from other sites and pay my rake there too, theres no way im leaving this site full of idiot players. I supose the one bonus of the new table limits alot of regs are going to leave which will make the games even more juicy.
