I just got randomly kicked from 2 or 3 tables "this table is no longer available", then I got a pop up saying "the server to wich you are connected will soon shut down". anybody else got the same problem ?

I had one this morning, at Lucky Ace.

no table camping possible anymore..

You were thinking that a bank transfer takes place immediately? Even with online banking it is at least 2-3 business days ... only eWallets such as Skrill are indeed (almost) instant.

Surely a very constructive way to work on your problem by insulting a moderator. I would have probably tried to help, but seeing these kind of posts typically makes the motivation to do so vanish quickly.

Sit out next bb is a welcome addition but can anyone confirm that the table camping issue is gone properly this time? That would be awesome if it was.

is there someone i can get in contact with to explain what has been happening the last few days, people anonymously blocking tables by reserving them and never sitting. Im pretty sure those people arent actually trying to play, but merely blocking tables so their friends can have the only open ones...

Its pretty complicated but its pushing it a really deep end and things could escalate if we dont find culprits or fix the software so something like taht cant happen...

Aren't you just describing from the table's perspective the notorious waitlist bug? When the waitlisted players, one after the next, get called and can't get seated you see long periods of "Reserved" at the table.

nope, people purposely blocking tables that have 5 guys out of 6 on so a recreative player cant sit.

I can explain why and how this is happening to people who can fix it

Don't blame the users for a poorly designed system.

You can pm it to me and I will forward it on to the correct department for you or you can mail it to support@888poker.com.

Thanks for your feedback.

holy **** all the crap you have to go through to just get your cashout limit raised.

now i lost time and paid over 100$ just to get official notarized documents and the damn support are telling me well the ID is kind of blurry sorry (when ive sent the IDs before to them of course).

this is a real joke so far...

I guess a passport photocopy with every information visible signed by a notary isnt enough for 888.

*

Update: It was fixed by a more understanding support member. : )

Not sure, what you are going through, but verifying my ID wasnt that much of a hassle at 888 compared to other sites. GL

Cashed out US$120 to AUD with the current rate at $1.1224 so should've received $134.40 but have only been paid $126.86.

Have I been charged a fee?

Nope, just the 888 currency scam

I have just gone through this thread and have noticed alot of people complaining about the exchange.

Ripping me off $0.07 for every $1.00 is a joke. Won't be playing on this site anymore.

I play on PP+888 (sometimes +FTP), use just HM2+TST+PlaceMint and everything works like charm for the first ~15 minutes. After that, 888 lobby starts to lag and it's not a big deal in the beggining, but after another 10-15 mins is impossible to use it anymore. Opened tables run well (a bit more laggier than in the beggining of the session, but still playable), but it's literally imposible to open any new table at all.
If I stop TST, bring 888 lobby upfront and wait for a minute or two, I may be able to click on a new table, but it's not opening within next 2 minutes.^^

Is it known issue (if so, how can anyone play on this site?) or is it just me (if so, do you have any tips)?

Thanks!
The flakiness of the 888 lobby has always been an annoyance. However, if it renders auto-seating BOTs less effective, then I'm happy for it.

Auto-seating BOTs are 1000x more harmful to online poker than poker playing BOTs and we need to rally hard to get them banned.

$373.37 buyin for melbourne superstack online 888
$300.00 buyin @ crown THE VENUE

AUD/USD is high volatility so if at nov19 when we process entries ,USD$320
is more than AUD$300, players will recieve a credit of difference to their bankroll

is 888s way of saying what ???
888 what exchange rate is to be used when processing credit ??
AUD/USD volatility means , will every entries be regarded on which daily rate of exchange they gained seat ???

how did the entry pay for the buyin or satt ??888cashier, paypal, credit card , third party .because ALL methods mentioned attract their own rate of exchange ??

just a couple of hurdles for THIS series

lets NOW look at ALL superstack exchange ssues since inception

NOT ONLY in oz but i noticed an UK s/s event just finished that left UK players with a credit of almost 20 quid using above OZ T &Cs

this issue has been approx 4% since the birth of PACIFIC POKER and has been HIGHLIGHTED recently by the "live games " now on offer

perhaps a response

I don't understand your issue. 888poker is holding 320 USD with which they will pay your entry. It doesn't matter how you acquired this amount. They've said that they'll use the amount necessary to pay the 300 AUD and refund the rest. They can't take less than the equivalent of 300 AUD; they have to be sure to take enough.

Where's the problem?

As for the foreign exchange ripoff. Yes, it's bad, but it's also easy to avoid once you know about it.
