And tomorrow they don't start coverage until 5. So overall that'll be 4.5 consecutive levels (9 hours) of play without coverage.

Just a random thought, I prefer the old wsop opening theme "We can be heros…" to this one.

Hellmuth hand, anyone have a clip to the whole thing? Did Phil even see the 3k cbet? I almost can't believe it's as described because it's so ridiculous.

The coverage is on now, Esfandiari table is the featured one, Ivey on a secondary featured table.

I, too, am disappointed that PokerGo will only cover play today until 6:15 pdt.

PH posted on Twitter that he is paying for Cambell's 2019 ME entry. PH didn't have to do that and I respect him for THAT.

It's not a complete loss for Hopkins, though, as he will receive a $10,000 entry into the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Not the stone bubble, ducy?

Was happy to see ESPN coverage started early today, then sad that Salas is on the featured table. We should see about 20 hands today.

I think there is a nice guy buried somewhere in Hellmuth (oooh...phrasing). He is probably a decent guy off the tables. He just has a cocktail of psychological issues related to self-esteem/narcissism/vanity. Infantile need for attention and praise. Sees himself as the center of the universe. Still seeking approval and adoration even though he's a 53 year old man who should be well settled in his life by now.

1182 players will cash in the ME. To get to the $20,000+ payout level, you have to finish 666th or higher.

So, about 44 % of the players cashing will get less than double their buy in.

Stop the 15 % madness!!!!

This is what we want to see with Ivey. He's going to be in a lot of hands having such a big stack so keep the coverage on him. Esfandiari has to play tighter because his chips not nearly as big.

I was hoping Phil raised flop with A5 on 23j flop. But we can see the cards. Interesting hand though.

Looks like a very soft table from a quick glance.

Edit... nobody awful giving it away but probably a bunch of lower limit young pros who are scared of him. Who idolize him through their careers. So most of them going to be very careful against him and try to stay away I would bet.

fyp

agree that action should primarily stay on Ivey's table. also think they should only have 2 featured tables instead of 3.

Anyone know where I could watch the ESPN stream from
Europe?

Would really love to tune in, but haven’t found anything yet.
