I don´t know too much about American laws (i know that some stuff is very silly).. but i´m pretty sure that this decision its not legal (even in America).

Per example in a civilized country you can´t deny entrys to public events or public places based on rumors, criminal record. When you go to jail you pay ur debt to society... when you leave jail people can´t deny entrys to places, shopings, restaurants, public envents because ur in jail in 1982 or last month.

EPL it´s just silly and i guess that is run by people that don´t have a clue about human dignity , equality and human rights.

Everyone except Christians...

Maybe there is a equity generic principle - that closed enumeration of "protected classes" doesn't make any sense. The TUDH proclaims an open generic equity principle - for everyone and every institution - private or public.

So, a private place like a restaurant or a bar open to the public can set up random criteria ? vg. Based on convictions, type of persons (ugly people can´t enter , poor people can´t enter, disabled person can´t enter, etc,etc)

A private institution, like a University can set up random criteria there?! There are no limits? The limits are just a closed exhaustive list of "protected classes"?!?!

Forgetting the written laws... this decision and the motive its not fair - is a common sense principle of justice. Ppl don´t need to study laws to feel that this is a unfair decision and its silly.

discrimination laws in western countries (uk, australia, us, etc.) typically require two things - discrimination against a protected class (typically race, religion, political view, etc.) and in a protected area (employment, accommodation, etc.).

Obviously this will vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, I do not know the details in Nevada, USA, but something can be "unfair" without being "illegal".

Also, Todd Terry is impressive here and making good points, imo.

The laws set a baseline mandatory minimum for ethical conduct. Obviously, truly ethical behaviour requires exceeding the nut low minimum standard.

They have not been criminally charged; they have been "sued" -- added to a civil complaint. I use scare quotes on "sued" because I'm not a lawyer and am not sure that's an accurate word when the gov't is the plaintiff.
