Where does it say that withdrawals are suspended for US players? I don't see this in the statement.

I freaked out and made a bank transfer withdraw for my whole roll. Am I screwed?

U.S. Player on UB - I put in a withdrawal request on 3/23/11 for check by mail. Received an email yesterday, 4/14/11, saying the following:

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, this payout was unable to be completed. The funds were put back into your poker account, along with a $25 bonus for the inconvenience.

Also, you were entered into the Sunday $200k guaranteed tourney at 5:30ET. Please accept this as a token of our appreciation and loyalty."

After the news today, I went on and put in another withdrawal request which was submitted successfully, but who knows if it'll get processed. This withdrawal-refund-withdrawal has happened in the past, and I eventually did get my money. Hoping the same thing happens again.

I did too. I'd personally want to initiate the withdrawal process as quickly as possible. No way do I want my money on FT right now, but that's just me. Maybe we're ****ed, I'm not sure what to think right now.

From the FBI notice on the UltimateBet web site it kind of looks like maybe it is that fanactical DA's office in New York that has been trying to ban online poker that may be responsible for this.

ive been posting this around a few of the threads that are talking about this bull**** thats going on.

im a none US player, i was sent an email from stars the other day saying i had to verify my account, due to "winning a pokerstars flagship tournament" apparently this is standard policy. At the time i received that email i had no photo id (passport sent off for should be back in 10-14 days) so my account was frozen.

will pokerstars be around in 10-14 days to un freeze my account? cus if not im seriously ****ED!

well when i try to cash out of full tilt it says cash outs for US players are "temporarly suspended". So clearly that link posted where full tilt says they will continue to allow withdrawals is off.

Look, its like I predicted in my 2007 'Learn Chat and Jail With the Pros' posts.... the whole poker boom is OVER. The end started with UIGEA in '06 and today is finally the END. What remains to be seen:
