Do you mean this site: http://fulltiltpoker.co.uk/

It's just showing the default apache webserver screen. (thats the "It works" part) If you go to www.fulltiltpoker.co.uk, then it properly re-routs to fulltiltpoker.net

I'm not sure what you think is threatening about this. How about you prove to me that it's NOT legit?

I think the online poker market in the US is just too lucrative to remain forever untapped. Someone somewhere will get something rolling. That said, we US players should probably get used to the idea of a reasonable span of time without online poker (6 months?). Just guess work on my part, of course. Definitely sucks though.
I'm afraid its going to be a good while longer than 6 months. I'm thinking more of a year or 2. I hope not, but sad to say thats probably more of a realistic time frame of what we are looking at here

successfully submitted my cash out request, pending now = PS , can anyone connect FTP secure server for a cashout req? obv euro
04-16-2011 , 03:41 AM
its pretty annoying to me that they dont point out in any of the articles the fact that tens of thousands of people lost their jobs today because of this

Here's the actual indictment for those who havent read it and are interested.

I thought it was interesting that the charges of "operating an illegal gambling business" were state charges and not federal.

I don't think it hit home enough to me at the time UIGEA went into effect, but that's without a doubt what ruined everything.

It's scary to think that they thought that far in the future that they'd make a very "it's a gray area" law and then have full tilt and stars try to dance around it only to later catch them with money laundering type stuff.

Yes money laundering is wrong but poker shouldn't be. This really is all the american government's fault. They took away my work.

Their greed took away my work and my livelihood.

They are shareholders. Thus they are safe. Only the upper management bears legal responsibility for company actions.

I did cash out months ago without any problem.
Hm. I cashed out 1k 7 hrs ago, also to Neteller.

40% already in Neteller rest is pending.

Also live in Germany.

Try again? I had to start about 10 attempts.

didn't stop the democrats then, probably won't stop the republicans now.
What a joke, one is online poker being banned, the other being thousands of people being stranded with no food or water for weeks in AMERICA, while bush tells his 88 IQ FEMA director "doing a heck of a job brownie". Totally comparable /sarcasm

played all night long .. didnt have any problem ... canada ftw
04-16-2011 , 03:45 AM
The sites mustve known about this for a while now. There are plenty of stories from Sept about the snitch who got bailed after making a plea-deal in an online gambling case.
04-16-2011 , 03:46 AM
OK so players experiencing the problem of the stuck update can go to www.fulltiltpoker.co.uk and download the client there, as some poster suggested earñoer. I just did that and worked fine. However I go to the withdraw window and it says more or less "we could not establish a secure connection to the server. click retry or contact support".

So yeah now I can log in but can't cash out. I'm in Europe.

I'm not saying it will successfully update your FTP client, I'm saying that it's not a virus. Lots of ppl have had problems connecting to the servers to update.
