I mean how many US players were actually getting money taken out of their accounts the last four months?

or was I just lucky? I even cashed $1200 successfully a few days ago, without one debit to my checking acct...

So what kind of patches will people be wearing at the WSOP this year? Bodog or Lock Poker?

Id like to know what they are thinking but most likely they had advanced warning or something and were able to safely get their money out through other means. I hope they are in the same boat as the rest of us...phil galfond gonna lose his fancy new penthouse probly unless he got his money out haha!

Wow, just wow. Well I guess it's no surprise that Washington state is getting this message. As of this post fulltilt, pokerstars, and absolute is down. Ub.com works for me however.

I hate my country. Trillions in debt, several wars, failing public institutions, and we go after poker sites.

EDIT: Sucks cause I just played a DON on carbon minutes ago. I guess there is always randomsitethatwillprobablyfold.com

know when to walk away
and know when to run

Was able to update and log in. Neither FTP nor Pokerstars are letting me sit at real money tables, and withdrawals are not currently allowed on FTP FTP commercials are still running on NBC during Poker After Dark

Going to try to double-or-nothing roll in a hurry, then cash out if I can.

Please rate plan.

Currently logged in from the US since before midnight. Playing RUSH NL50. Less than 200 players though. Dropping like flies. Never seen # players below 200 ever. Guess its just a matter of time before the restart the server and kick out all the US players.

So I'm stoked to get to watch ESPN2 coverage of the 2010 Main Event starting at 1 am, nope it's been preempted by some Jon Gruden bull****. So is all poker playing going to be stigmatized and eventually indicted as well? ESPN can't show the ****ing Main Event now?

This is a power play by the US govt to get their hands on the whole ****ing enchilada.

Added to your post. Like it or not, or feel that the sites have been set up for failure, they still broke federal law, and are being busted for it.

They aren't being busted for running a gambling site.

04-16-2011 , 03:11 AM
wow, looks like we are all gonna be forced to play ap/ub. not playing or playing there, worse of 2 evils.
04-16-2011 , 03:12 AM
I started drinking heavily the moment I heard about this.

I was listening to DC 101 (a rock radio station) while driving, and at around 9pm a caller called to name the D-bag of the week.....and he said "The DOJ because they shutdown online poker and are dicking people who want to play." I thought it was pretty cool that someone called a major radio station and got that out there. Kudos to you wherever you are sir.
