Unless they have some evidence that something shady was going on then this is pretty stupid of them. I can't imagine high rollers are going to be queuing up to play at the casino that doesn't pay big winners.

Agree and strongly agree (to the point that it's a ridiculous statement) depending on particulars. I haven't read it closely but does it say he was flat betting his limit every hand? Did they list the limit on longer shot bets? I mean you're up almost 10 units if you bet tie your first hand and hit it.

If he's gambling at those stakes at a skill free game, surely its only a matter of time before he goes busto, you'd think he'd stick to the stuff where he as a little edge at least, unless there is some truth in what the casino's claiming.

holy ****

Ridic part of this is that he brought 1m pounds to the table. So the dollar amounts sound huge, but a win of 7m is not even that ridiculous. Add to the fact that Ivey is a known degen, and this situation is stupid.

Genting have they thought this through, probably not, the -ev on this is huge.Who wants to play in a joint that will not pay out.Back when, the Gaming board would be looking into this with a potential loss of the casino license at stake. The next few weeks should make interesting reading

" Although he is a respected figure in the poker world, casinos regard him as a ‘hit and run’ gambler, with a tendency to ‘quit after just a few hands if he wins big’. "
