Does anyone know the selection procedure now?

I've seen many people say they will vote for Jared. Is there a voting procedure, or is it solely the choice of the shows producers? Is Daniel N. a producer of the show, and if not, does he really have the clout to get Jared on the show?

I'm sure he has an excellent chance of being selected, but is he a lock?

I PMed Daniel. Not sure what the next step is - the FAQ says that PS will send instructions to all of the qualifiers telling them how to submit their tapes. It's unclear whether the tapes will be voted on or just picked by the producers.
