Jared's poker static interview should be up tomorrow, or soon, he filmed it today.

Do we have a sweat thread yet? If not, where should I put it?

Passed up his story for months because of the thread title, wish I hadn't, great stuff.

As for the petition to get him on the big game...

The qualifying tournaments are pretty much donk shove fests that require zero poker skill. I don't understand why an exception can't be made.
I agree. That's why I thought I was signing this petition, to get PokerStars to put him on the show. We don't need a petition to ask Jared to play the freerolls.

He would be a good LC for the show. He's had some tough times, he's made some mistakes but it doesn't seem like poker is what caused his problems. In fact it looks like poker kept him from sleeping in his car for a few months while he was recovering from his injury.

Looking at his stats he's still positive. From what I read he cashed out regularly to pay his bills then he hit a break even stretch and eventually ran into the drooller that busted what he had left.

You probably haven't read through the whole thread, but Daniel has come in saying Jared will have to qualify - rules are rules. And PSSteve said essentially the same thing. Apparently the process was a little different in the first batch of shows because they didn't have many qualifiers, which is why we thought they could get him on with a snap of their fingers.

But both have also implied that qualifying is doable and that jared is exactly the kind of guy theyd like to see on the show. Even if they cant just skip the qualifying requirement, the thread seems to have had a significant impact by drawing attention to Jared, his plight, and his gifts to 2p2.

I would like to request that we not turn this into a religious discussion please. Nothing would derail this thread faster than faith-flaming.
