well if the bank has his signature on file it shouldn't be an issue to have the stolen money returned.

Since the message does not appear on his facebook profile, it seems fake indeed. Unless he deleted it.

Wow, I'd be so pissed if I were him to know my friends are stealing money from me. Just because I'm rich, it just shows who your friends really were before you got rich.

This usually happens when money gets involved. Whenever someone comes into a lot of money, friends begin to act differently and many new "friends" show up out of nowhere.

If one of my real friends did something like this, they would probably fall out of my "friend" category.

Probably put the message up before going to the police, and has taken it down 'til they sort it out.

Total douche move by the "friend" though. I'd say leeches are one of the biggest issues young, extremely successful poker players face

... unless there's a required time frame by which the crime must be reported. Banks have rules, regulations, and laws to abide by.

Four months is a long time.

WOW, really?

If one of your real friends stole your check book, forged your signature, and stole large amounts of money out of your checking account:
"They would probably fall out of your "friend" category?"

That is kind of harsh, dude.

I mean, what are friends for, if not for kiting some bad paper around?
Would you talk it over a beer first before making a final decision on what category to put them in?

Me? I would probably immediately put them in the "smash their little twerp skull in with a baseball bat" category and ask questions later.
