Negreanu was getting hammered when i saw him... Fully tilting, snapping off allins with top pair vs isil's overpair, getting it in bad pre and getting 4 bet/5 bet to ****. Not saying the comeback was at all rigged but i think Isildur is by far the better HU online player and DN must've run like god to bring the game back

Erm, it was matchplay so you can't really look at total profit across the two matches as a fair assessment. The reason being that because it is a matchplay, if one player is far behind, it becomes logical to make plays that are -EV in a vacuum in order to attempt to get lucky and get back into the match.

For instance in a golf matchplay, if a player is significantly behind with only a few holes to play then he should attempt riskier shots, since he has very little left to lose. Look at Tony G in his Isildur match - he made some plays towards the end that were clearly "bad" and ignorant 2+2ers were laughing at him, but if he had not done so then he would have had no chance at winning the match.

The way to decide who wins would be to stage a deciding match.
