I don't know the dude and I've never met him, but his general reputation when amongst the 'public' is that of a super nice guy. Could be wrong, but most accounts are pretty consistent; it isn't like this happened to David Williams.

To be fair, I've also heard that he has a reputation as being a super nice and classy guy.

The only things against him are:

1. Those ridiculous get ups he wears on TV

2. He seems to be an awful poker player, at least when he's on TV anyways

3. He's super religious

In vegas, moving vans and such are such a normal sight you almost tune them out, someone is moving in (or mostly out) of somewhere every day. People are getting foreclosed left and right in nice communities and a lot of the homes are unoccupied/short term rentals now.

People saying this sounds like an inside job are crazy unless hoyt had a high end security system that needed to be disabled or something. IMO, this is why high stakes living is a bad idea, people can figure out where you live and know where all your stuff is in your house ahead of time, quick in and out becomes really simple if you have the plans.

Just an update...we managed to sneak a news crew past the (highly secure???) Spanish Trails gates and they will be running the story on the news cast tonight, it will also be online which I will link to on here. Hoyt will be interviewed. Their are a ton of new developements as well as far as who is involved. Ill keep you all posted as soon as I can.

If you can post a link to the news site. I was in Vegas till Sunday evening and looked like Fox5 had the best coverage at the time. Sorry Hoyt if you're reading this. I told Ken I'd house sit in the future...

Why did you have to sneak the news crew? If they are invited by Hoyt...then they have to let them in. If they are inside his house, it doesn't matter if the management doesn't want you there. He is free to choose his guests as he pleases.

Gavin on Pokerroad Radio yesterday raised the possibility that it may have been an estranged significant other. This makes sense as someone who could have ready access to the house and wouldn't arouse suspicion with a moving van.

We tried to get Fox News in on Saturday, in the interest of getting the word out so people could help. They point blank banned them at the gate, threatened to arrest them for trespassing etc. Hoyt had given permission. The security told me that it is management's decision and why would we want Spanish Trails to be protrayed poorly? I told them that it was their decision, that they clearly let in at least 3 people to rob him and now weren't letting in a news crew to try and help us by alerting the public to be on the lookout for his WSOP and WPT bracelets. I did an interview with Fox outside the gate and they actually led with the story and how ****ty Spanish trails was. So, when CBS wanted to come in, we decided to sneak them in.
