"Funds will be paid electronically via ACH to the bank account provided with your Petition for Remission. "

this sucks. i was going to thoroughly enjoy walking up the super hottie boom body teller at my bank with a fat check from the United States Department of Justice.

QFT.

Username starts with "a" and no email yet. Small balance, so no biggie I guess...

Not sure how anything's a "slow roll"... there's a 2 month petition period during which any discrepancies that do crop up can be handled. I got the e-mail. It gave me 2 numbers that are meaningless because I can't even do anything with them until 9-18. I don't understand the anticipation.

obv tea party or ron paul supporters may take longer

2+ years of DOJ earning interest on our $150m+ and we have 2 months to respond to an email for possible remission....why do I feel this won't be such a smooth, speedy process?

I have a question and would be very appreciative if someone could help me out with some insight. I apologize if this is a stupid question. I read a Facebook status of a poker acquaintance about the FTP Claims which lead me back to 2+2 and to my email finding my claim and control numbers. I am excited about finally having the opportunity to recover these funds from FTP.

HOWEVER, I also had funds on Stars. I am having trouble finding information on recovering Stars funds. Is that something that has already happened? Something that hasn't been figured out yet? Something that will never happen? Again sorry if this is a stupid question or old topic, but thank you for any help.

did anyone else have to change their SN after Black friday? i just read on ftp site :

Will US players be able to use the same screen names when Full Tilt Poker is re-launched?

US players account details will not change – all Player IDs will be the same. Please note that you will still be able to log in and play for play money while located in the United States of America (or territories of the United States of America)

But, they made me change my account sn for some reason long time ago after black firday for some reason? when i just tried to dl my account history it shows nothing but new sn in excel i made long time ago after black friday(still shows my points i had under old sn on ftp client)? whats the deal, i also havnt gotten email from gcg yet either,)i dont have access to old email if thats the one ftp had(right now says correct email but not sure when i updated it), i gave gcg my new email tho but still nada so far

Jesus, how did I let that slip by without noticing? Thank you for the input. I guess I'll give emailing support a go.

Before I forget...

Props to GCG/DOJ (and this is coming from someone who holds DOJ primarily responsible for the apocalyptic results of BF) for deciding on the 2 month window from Sept 16 - Nov 16 for remission petitions re: the 'priority' issue.

Clearly the most fair way to sort out the account holders who are most desperately waiting for their $ from those who aren't. Well done.

The Stars money came back in about 48 hours. Makes this process look like a joke.
