That is like saying "this is the best wheat field landscape thread on the internet". After you've seen a few of them, you've seen them all. I know cat lovers think cats are super diverse and interesting, but not all of us agree.

I too can't wait to be done with this thread forever. What a waste of time this has all been...including this post.

Good luck to all of you getting your money back. Hopefully, we can finally put all of this behind us.

Well it's certainly not the best thread on FTP remission, that's for sure.

They have announced that they PLAN to START sending remissions emails on September 16.

The two words in caps mean that any particular person may or may not get their instructions tomorrow.

Personally I plan to wait a week, and if everyone else has gotten their emails and I haven't, I will take additional steps at that point.

For now, though, there's nothing you have to do except check your Inbox at the email address that FTP had on file.

I'm going to start a new thread. "What time tomorrow will claims be accepted". Stay tuned.

day is here... Gonna finally go to sleep (4am), and I pray I wake up to some really great news. I pray everything goes as smoothly as it should, and possibly even better than expected. Pray there aren't any big errors or outrageous loopholes, and I pray that everybody who was a victim from full tilt gets fully compensated for their losses. It's been a long time coming guys, glad we're finally here. If it all goes as planned, today should be a historic day for this whole full tilt saga. Good night everybody and good luck, this thread is the first thing I'm checking when I wake up

It is September 16th. I signed up for the remission notification listing a few month back when the FTClaims website launched. I will update if I hear anything from them.

Yeah but people are hoping to finally get some real clarity.

Most people should have their $$$ balance confirmed and be given clear directions for how to apply. If you have to wait a while afterwards for the cash, oh well. At least you FINALLY know what you can expect.

It's probably going to be a 5:00 EST announcement just to keep us on our toes. I think every GCG announcement has been at the end of the day. I believe the last one was at 6:00pm.

Impressed that 6 others have logged the claims site with changedetection.com. Beats F5ing it to death.

4. How do I get a Petition for Remission?

On September 16, 2013, GCG began emailing Notices to all potentially eligible victims of FTP’s fraud who have been identified by GCG utilizing data supplied by FTP. GCG expects to finish emailing the Notices on September 17, 2013. The Notice provides instructions for filing petitions online through the administration website. If you did not receive an email notice and you believe you are eligible to participate in the remission process, you can file a new petition online using the online filing tab on the left sidebar of this website beginning September 18, 2013.

5. When can I file a Petition for Remission?

You can file a Petition for Remission online beginning September 18, 2013.

6. What is the calculation formula that will be used to determine payment?

The calculation formula to be used for the Petition for Remission process is based on players' final balances with FTP as of April 15, 2011 (the "FTP Account Balances"). If the forfeited funds available for distribution (the "FTP Fund") equal or exceed the aggregate FTP Account Balances for all eligible Petitioners, each eligible Petitioner with an approved petition will receive the entirety of his or her FTP Account Balance. If the aggregate FTP Account Balances for all eligible Petitioners exceeds the FTP Fund, payments will be made to eligible Petitioners on a pro rata basis.

7. How do I know the amount of my FTP Account Balance?

If you received an email Notice containing both a Petition Number and a Control Number, once you login to the Petition filing process through this website, you will be able to view your FTP Account Balance. You will then be able to confirm or dispute this balance. Players who did not receive an email Notice may file a new petition, following the directions on this website, but their FTP Account Balance will not be displayed on the website; such Petitioners will need to provide the amount of their FTP Account Balance through the Petition Filing site, and will need to submit documentation to substantiate their claimed FTP Account Balance. To access the petition filing site, please click on the tab on the left side of this page.

8. What do I do if the account balance displayed through the online filing process is not correct?

If you believe that your account balance is incorrect, please click the button labeled, "To Dispute Balance: Click to Upload Documents" and follow the instructions provided.

9. Is there a deadline to submit a Petition for Remission?

Yes, the deadline to submit a Petition for Remission is Saturday, November 16, 2013.

10. Will I be notified if my Petition for Remission is deficient?

Yes, GCG will provide a Notice of Deficiency to all Petitioners with eligible but deficient Petitions specifying the additional information that must be submitted for the Petition to be considered.

11. What documents need to be submitted with the Petition for Remission?

If you agree with the FTP Account Balance displayed through the online filing process, you are not required to submit documentation. However, if you dispute the balance, you are required to submit supporting documentation, such as complete unaltered copies of cancelled checks, wire transfers records, bank or credit statements or similar official transaction records. This supporting documentation must show the account holder's name, date, transaction descriptions, amount, and financial institution information.

12. When and how will I be paid on my claim?

All approved Petitioners who confirm their FTP Account Balance will be paid after the Bar Date and after GCG has reviewed submitted Petitions. Funds will be paid electronically via ACH to the bank account provided with your Petition for Remission.

13. How do I update my contact information?

Call us toll-free at: (866) 250-2640, email us at: info@FullTiltPokerClaims.com, or write to us at: Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration, c/o GCG, P.O. Box 9965, Dublin, Ohio 43017-5965.

14. What entity is in charge of this matter?

The Petition for Remission Process is being handled by the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and the Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section of the United States Department of Justice.

15. How do I contact the Claims Administrator?

Call us toll-free at: (866) 250-2640, email us at: info@FullTiltPokerClaims.com, or write to us at: Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration, c/o GCG, P.O. Box 9965, Dublin, Ohio 43017-5965.

16. What are the other requirements outlined in 28 C.F.R. § 9.8?

28 C.F.R. § 9.8 is a certification requirement of the Department of Justice for victims of an offense underlying the forfeiture of property who are to be reimbursed. These specific requirements can be read by clicking here and generally provide that the victim has not already been compensated and was not involved in the offense.

17. Why do you require my Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number?

Prior to the payment of funds to a Petitioner, GCG will provide the Petitioner’s Social Security or other Taxpayer Identification Number to the Government, in order to offset and collect any qualifying debts currently listed in the Treasury Offset Program.

18. If an eligible FTP player has passed away, what documentation may be submitted so that the player’s estate is able to file a Petition?

In order to file a Petition on behalf of a deceased player, an executor of the player’s estate must submit a copy of the document that appoints him or her as executor. If there is no executor, a document designating the heirs may be submitted.
