But can't you then see that the real struggle is exclusively within you, and FTP has ~[very little] (depending on how little/much you're willing to make it be) to do with it?

Ok, so now that this deadline has passed. Does anyone have an idea as to when the new deadline is?

When asked if the Full Tilt sale to GBT would be done today, a source close to the negotiation told PocketFives, "Nothing today."

If you think its next week because you have a "source" say so.

If not, just admit that you make things up
I don't make **** up, will FTP be up in March? Lol, 99% not. Will we have some news by end of March which most likely be very good for us? Yes, 90% sure.

IMO

You can complain about **** all you want, I won't judge, but that's what looks most likely imo.

All I wanted to say is you're being really mad for no reason. Relax, do some hookers and blow or something, and wait it out. You're wasting a lot of energy on something you have no impact on. I have no impact either, but I'm relaxed and ****. I imo don't need to defend myself against someone who is obviously emotionally very involved and not being rational.

I don't want to offend you or anything, just want to point out there's a lot of wasted energy in your posts IMO.

even if the deal is completed, can someone explain to me as a humble outsider how the value in FTP is not dropping by the day?

zoom poker has launched, merge has dash poker launching, fast poker is going to be launching on various sites and you have to think bigger platforms such as Party, ongame and ipoker have something in the works.

Unless GBT gives away the world in promotions what commercial/software advantages are they going to have?
Are they going to have name pros? That hasn't worked out well for FTP1

They have a ton of players who are owed by FTP, some may stay but some may just want to get their money back ASAP or at least withdraw a large % of it.
The people with bigger balances stuck at FTP are more likley to withdraw a healthy % as to not make the same bankroll management mistakes they made in the past.
Fishy players (constant depositers) are likley to have zero balances so will have to be given reasons to deposit at a new site.

The lack of urgency doesn't tilt me but it just seems strange given the fact the competition is moving closer and closer.

If a deal is ever completed, FTP will have plenty of value strictly from the fact that donks gonna donk, and will play on pretty much any site that will accept deposits.

That AB/UB survived so long is testament to that.

Surprised it wasn't "next week" or "we're almost ready and we'll make an announcement soon"

Lets see if I can answer this without getting banned this time.

DONT YOU THINK TAPIE ALREADY EXPECTED THESE OTHER POKER COMPANYS TO LAUNCH THEIR OWN RUSH VERSION SOONER OR LATER?

No this tapie group, They go invest time and money in a market they have no clue what to expect. You sir should start a investment firm since you probably think its that easy. Especially when pokerstars launch zoom OUT OF THE BLUE

If what I'm seeing in LA area casinos is any indication of rest of the world games there are fewer and fewer of bolded each and every month.

I'm not suggesting games won't be beatable for best players but am suggesting it won't be anywhere close to the gold mine it was prior to Black Friday and anybody thinks that is is fooling themselves.
03-23-2012 , 03:51 PM
I guess that's not quite what I was trying to say. I'm not suggesting that the overall player pool will be like pre-BF, only that, if FTP does ever come back, they won't have any issue reclaiming a reasonable market share of the sites that are operating, in the areas that those sites operate.

e.g., if FTP is available in Canada, UK, France, etc., FTP will have no problem getting a chunk of the presently-active online player bases in those countries, and that no one's going to shy away from them just because of their past issues, because people will pretty much put their money on any site that will accept it.

Hope I was somewhat more clear.

I think what you're seeing in LA casinos is clearly more specifically reflective of BF, and not just because US players have money tied up. More, its that there's no online storefront serving as a gateway drug of sorts, to get players in the game. And a lot of the scattered randoms, while they were happy to play online (and probably a large chunk would come back), they weren't necessarily interested in traveling to casinos anyway, outside of Vegas pilgramages for reasons beyond just poker.

So not 'maybe tomorrow' then since it's been and gone? But most likely 'early next week' which would be 26-28 of March?

So 90% by the 31 of March a 'most likely' (another 90%?) good news?

I hope you are not just making random dates up. But if you do and nothing happens by the end of March, am I free to re-post this on the 1st of April and call you a '90% wanker' from then on?

Is what you write based off sources or things that randomly pop into your head?
