I still think we are better off arguing theology and conspiracies than suffering hdemets never-ending pessimism which constantly stood out as contrary to what the rest of us recognized as being reality.

Well now I know you're lying, because someone who read it three times would know all the really cool (even if it is scary cool) stuff in there. I mean, come on, Ezekiel 23:20? Thats HILARIOUS.

More like scary and disgusting. But seriously, move it to RGT. Otherwise, I'll be tempted to join this conversation too, and the derailment will be unimaginable

For a real update....

Ifrah said that there are a host of legal and tax issues to work out still. Optimistically, a vote could get to shareholders by the end of the week.

Any word on tourney tickets and FPP's?

Has anyone reported a Lederrererererer or Ferguson sighting? I used to have respect for Ferguson and really no opinion on Ledererererererer other than his sister is an ugly beotch.

Remember Sit & Go Madness. I miss those.

Fridays were always happy days when I would see the email in my inbox from raketherake.

The super turbos on FT were the BEST!

Look how bright it is. Same reason there are no stars during the day. Its basically like daytime on the moon. Just no water vapor to turn the sky blue. Honestly, if they were going to fake the moon landing and all those details, I am pretty sure they would have added fake stars.

what about a statement from the DOJ? - since some of you really seem to believe they do everything to get players paid as quickly as possible why the **** don't they even give out any information on that ?deal?. If that were some gevernment institution of my country i would put some more ****ing pressure on them!
In the context of the NVG FTP Discussion Thread that update is more real than gravity. Give the words said any amount of credibility you want, just saying Ifrah really said it.

Also, DOJ won't say anything about a contingent deal that is meaningless unless FTP and GBT have an agreement.

Ifrah has been honest and a very good source of info throughout all of this, stop posting crap like this imo .

This. You're coming dangerously close to trolling, since you seem to exist solely to disagree with whatever another poster says.

People were already unhappy with hdemet. What makes you think they want his swearing and bible-citing redneck version?

im generaly anti-censorship, but common mods u really need to have some kind of control over who comes into here and spews nonsense. This thread has enough useless posts already. I read pretty much every post and have actually never even ignored a single user. At least when hdemet was around, even through all his tl;dr pessimistic posts he at least provided some rational thought and tried to contribute something even though I may disagree with like all his opinions/speculation. If your not going to ban users lke hellraiser, at least delete his posts, for the sake of people who simply dont have the time to spend hours wading though nonsense posts in hope of finding actual info. Thanks bizzle and everyone else taking the time with providing us with updates

Does anyone know if the claim Ferguson put through for 98 million is holding this deal back? Also, was this expected by DOJ and GBT or was it a surprise to them?

Agree, but this Troll simply keeps popping back up with a new SN and sometimes the same avatar to spew his nonsence about " Russian Justice" and what "he" would do to the FTP folks and on and on. He is an attention whore, and he is getting his fix He will step over and SGT RJ will chop and later, like one of the walking dead, he will be back with another juvenile SN spouting the same line of Troll Talk

Not really big news or anything but the presiding Judge gave Bitar a new deadline of December 19 to respond to the amended complaint.

Could someone explain why they would do this and the significance of it?

This link says this is between RB and PokerStars. Is that correct?

Extensions in court cases are very common place. It could be for any one of dozens of reasons and probably has very little significance overall. IMO.

Pokerstars, et. al. Pokerstars is just the first named Defendant in the case. Full Tilt, Bitar, etc. follows.

I believe... (off top of my head) The complaint was amended back when they added Lederer, Furst, etc. Then, Bitar filed a claim for his seized property (bank accounts, homes, etc.) Subsequently or in the same filing, Bitar requested additional time for responding to the complaints against him and in defense of his right to the seized property.

This document is just the court granting him the additional time, for whatever reason (probably by law, he has x amount of days after the filing of his claim for the property or from the date of the amended complaint)

IANAL, but imo this serves to only align all his answers to be due the same day, seems perfectly reasonable. He already has a due date of Dec. 19 for the 'in personam' ( the part relating to him personally)aspects of the case, so now the answers for the forfeiture part will be due the same time.

I find no notation that this refers to RB and Pokerstars. If you are referring to the title of the complaint, thats moot really in relation to your question. When the original complaint was filed, PS name came first, so the shortened version shows that name here too, followed by "and others".

I see no reason that this would effect current FTP/GBT negotiations.
