Unibet currently are the only company making an effective push to make online poker a fun, competitive and long-lasting game.
They have a no HUDs rule, table limit, low rake and excellent rewards for beginners, effective deterants for playing too many tables, while still offering big rewards to the biggest rakers to incentivise action and grinding.
They also offer an array of fun avatars, daily name changes, freerolls for losing players, fun challenges, and the rep's communication with the 2+2 community is the best.
Their business direction seems to be to grow a long term player base and the popularity of their product (I know, unbelievable in this industry right
).
Unibet are clearly the future of online poker, and Dnegs is one player that really encapsulates the notion of 'creating a fun playing atmosphere'.
He has been a great promoter for pokerstars through it's golden years but its clear Unibet's visions for online poker are more inline with the views he has expressed on his blogs over the years.
He seems to take a bit of stick on here for various reasons, but no-one can deny that he puts alot of thought and effort into bettering the game of poker as a whole, that his heart is in the right place as an ambassador of the game, and that it's still damn fun to watch him play poker and read/watch his blogs.
I think this would be a great move for him, Unibet and online poker.
