There was some talk about a $100k bonus they have to unlock (see this thread), but I'd take it with a pinch of salt (I'm guessing it's actually dependant on the person, with different sponsored pros getting different deals...).

German football fans in public viewing settings are reeeeally easy going, but I would never dare to celebrate like that in front of a rival fan group here. Cheering and expressing joy is totally ok, but that gesture is solely intending to offend others - at least it is understood that way here, and I imagine in Spain as well.

Would not recommend if you like your face as it is.

It's clearly very likely that if Spain goes on to win after the equalizer and his celebration, there are no angry Spanish fans who lashes out by trying to get him fired and thus it never happens.

Stars was right to fire this monkey douche.

Stars pays his way into tourney, asks him to represent the brand in Spain, then the douche celebrates like a spastic ****** against Spain. His whole purpose there was to help build the brand, i.e. help increase business in Spain. Celebrating like a spaz with possible offensive gestures against Spain was an idiotic move on his part. He'll learn to realize which side his bread is buttered on, and who butters it.
