They responded by saying something like "We are trying to figure that out and we are anticipating a resolution tomorrow"

I asked was the resolution specific to rakeback or the whole situation.. they said "resolution for the whole situation"...

Whether that resolution is good bad or means we are fked, who knows

Well, I requested a pay-out over 3 days ago now - still no money. No answer to an e-mail I sent to them last night either. I know they must be busy but getting worried.

Yeah just chatting with the live help and even though i tried to be polite as possible she was quite rude.
2 sum it up she said our payments are currently being sorted into a priority list and when i asked her roughly when she thinks they will go through she said no timeframe but soon.

All of the comments about the specific timing of the DOJ's Friday release is good to note. Because in politics when u release the news is nearly as important as the news itself, and always release on a day of most impact or least depending on the aim of the release.
Its has caused widespread panic amongst all the players on that site, and for good reason. We are all worried about our money on there. And most of us would take it off and all of it, if we could. And as a result, all the guarantees have been giving overlay, and getting slashed in half and more. This was a big hit, and the timing was specific to create the most impact.

So as far as a strategic move for the company, it make sense for them to freeze our accts. and slowly let people take money off in a manner befitting a non panic situation. Kinda like lining up and walking out the door in a fire drill as opposed to everybody clawing, scratching and trampling in order to get out first. Remember the fire drills from elementary school?

The comments AP/UB needing time to set up new ways to both accept money and disperse money as well makes sense. And I am encouraged by the "finger to the DOJ " the UB/AP seems to be doing.
Though that approach I suppose worries me as well because they perhaps dont have a long term approach, as opposed to ftp/stars. Perhaps they never intended on going legit in the US, Perhaps they wanted to grab as much as they could while poker was in legal limbo in the US, and then fold, or sell their base to a legit company. this is all just speculation. But they did add a casino to the site last year at some point.. And then hellmuth and duke left.. Didnt seem to be great decision if they were in it for the long haul.

I must admit that I have found it tuff to play on a site where im not sure if its real money or just a high score. But since I have a high score on the site. Im guessing other people are feeling this way too, and based on the way people were playin, they are loose and feelin like it not real money. The games seemed real soft yesterday..
As sick as it may seem, I almost feel like if we keep playing on the site, we stand the best chance of actually getting our money back. And if we don't play on the site, it will be hit so hard that they can't stay afloat and fold with our cash.
