Do you mean through the PrivateTable site? I still don't see account sign up available on the finpay.net web site.

Lol... I don't feel good about doing all this stuff... I'm gonna sit back a while and see how it plays out... I don't think a lot of people will provide this with a financial provider nobody has ever heard of before lol...

I'm fine with it.. The tribes have their own regulators and I believe they won't pull any shenanigans.. Even if they get shut down in court, assuming they open up I don't see player funds not being returned promptly. NV & NJ want SS#, DL also to report/track the $ and tax the sites and players.

Id feel much safer on PrivateTable.com than any other unregulated sites that are available to me, or VPNing it etc. Other than the isle of Man the regulators are a buncha kangaroo courts anyway as anybody who follows the industry is well aware of.

SS# is required to open acct on PrivateTable anyway iirc..

I will definitely be depositing and playing there ASAP if/when it gets up and running. I don't think they're bluffing anymore based on their progress this week after the legislation getting shelved till Dec, and somebody has clearly spent A LOT of $ to get the site & finpay as far along as it is now..

And if they win in court the floodgates will open up.. On the .com site they have a program available to provide & manage skins for other tribes, for those who didn't know..

I just regd w finpay, it's linked to my PrivateTable cashier button on the poker client. It appears everything is place & ready to go from that side. Now we just need real $ games added to the lobby and were good! o/u for the date it launches?

I guess it's no worse then me giving my Social Security Number to the minimum wage workers at the welfare office, so I guess I can give Finpay and PrivateTable my SSN...

I tried to sign up with Finpay but even though I am well over the age of 18, it still says my birthday is not. Emailed support. It all just seems to be put together with cheap paper and some glue sticks.

nevermind..got a bounce back. Their customer service support email Support(at)Finpay.net doesn't even work...wow.

Seems they're making baby steps though.

After registering an account you see in flashing lights, "California's FIRST LEGAL online poker room".

They're sure going pretty far if this is just a bluff.

There's an interview on card player with a tribe chairman that said they are going to launch at the end of the month. For some reason I can't post the link on my phone though

The Card Player link stated the online poker site "will be flipping the switch on for real money sometime between August 26th and 28th, according to Santa Ysabel Gaming Commission Chairman Dave Vialpando."

In case anyone is wondering what the ***'d out address is, it's a certain magazine that still carried Lock Poker ads and whose President won the WSOPE Main Event a few years ago.

Edit: also, this could be merged with the existing Santa Ysabel thread.

So if they decide to not pay players do you have to sue them in tribal court or something?

Before being amazed that no one is talking about something, you might want to check to see if no one really is.

Also, please don't cut-and-paste entire articles (or large portions of them) - that's a copyright violation.

There will be no legal recourse for players.

Are you kidding me? I'm not sure where you are from PX but I get the feeling you don't understand much about the tribal culture or mentality.. A tribe losing their gaming lic would be the worst possible thing that could happen to a tribe that was able to obtain one in the 1st place.. I really think you're a hater and have a vested interest against it some how. Do you think the players would have more recourse playing EPN,WPN, BV Merge, Revo, SWC or VPNing it? come on now man...

He's probably surprised that you'd label/accuse PX like that for making a simple statement about legal recourse - a statement that your post didn't refute, since a tribe not wanting to lose their license has nothing to do with what legal recourse a player may or may not have.

Ok lets put 2+2 together bobo.. do I really need to dig thru all the CA indian gaming regs to prove what i previously stated that is blatantly obv is true? It was such an ridiculous comment I assumed it was from a troll and didnt even take it seriously but ok bobo ill shut u pall the merge and wpn and bv paid reps and use this public forum to get the true and correct word out thank you I agree! Honestly I dont want dueces players there anyway even tho im +ev in any sng or mtt that privatetable rolls out. Ya the fact that anybody is acting like the CA tribes are shady is just stupid and uninformed. Ill make my own thread fine

Hard to make heads or tails of a lot of that post, but neither I nor PX (from what I could see) were commenting on the integrity of CA tribes. He made a remark about legal recourse, and you seemed to get pretty bent out of shape about it.

His remark about legal recourse was presented as a fact and to people out of the loop it could affect traffic. You are correct I am bent out of shape with PX and his posts regarding privatetable and I am making a formal request to know it he is or isnt affiliated with any other poker sites or media outlets.. If there is no recourse wouldn't that by nature automatically call integrity into question?
