high stakes multi accounting is pretty serious. it could equate to hundreds of thousands of dollars in extra EV

idk but if I were jeans id like to know if joey were being sweated by hastings, regardless of who were ultimately making the final decisions. That would be the courteous thing to do, "hey just so you know, hastings is watching me play" then jeans can at the very least assume he is being given posthand analysises which is perfectly fine.

I believe he would probably adjust his play as he were playing hastings to be "safe", sweat have a huge impact even when its unintentional to be as such, and given the option to just get up and leave if it makes him uncomfortable.

when I say nobody takes it seriously I'm referencing nobody on the sites that it occurs on. perhaps I should've clarified. I'm sure if it happens against somebody, they care but couldn't care less when they do it

Suddenly the 5/10 reg starts crushing and is playing as high as 100/200 with many suspecting it is actually not him playing the account. Then straight from the horses mouth it is confirmed that for the biggest ever pot on the account that Hastings was apparently sitting behind him telling him how to play. Then it transpires he was living with Stinger and now it transpires that Stinger likely multi accounted years later in a very scummy way. And also, if it is so cool and totally okay for a 5/10 reg to play a 60k pot at 100/200 v a known HS reg (in this case Jeans and perhaps a 3rd person?) with another HS reg sitting behind, why then did Hastings become so uncomfortable and move the subject on so quickly when it came out in the podcast? I mean, it's totally cool, right?

I can understand someone thinking that this might have been the case but your guys timeline is pretty forgetful. I had my best months ever in Jan-Feb-Mar-Apr-May before i took time off to become a professional rager. I was already playing a ton of 25/50 50/100 prior to the couple weeks we stayed together. He was playing at the same time I was many different times when I was 20 tabling 5/10-50/100 which I believe me and only one other regular did. When I played in the 100/200 lineup, I was up about 150-200k for the month and was in a very yolo mindset at the time and never played that high before. You can go check the HSPLO BBV thread and my blog for all the posts I made of HHs/graphs during this time. I also had plenty of friends randomly watch me play. I saw open seat with position on Theo J iirc and wanted to play. Stinger said wtf are you doing playing that table. For the Jeans hand I had A764ds and was going to fold OOP to 3bet being 150ishbb deep but he said how can you play this table and then fold that hand which made sense (also I posted in HSPLO thread that I really wanted to beat Jeans) so I called/flopped straight/c.r'd/he went all in/my heart beat faster than ever at the time/held/won/celebrated with meeting a new group of people who were into very much into raging/then started losing it all playing while raging. When he left Canada after two weeks I kept playing the same games/style. I didn't cash out or xfer any of the money I won during that month but it would have been best in retrospect if someone was playing during that time for me and got the money rather than other HS accounts who were probably being played by more than one person themselves.

I've also talked about this probably 5-10 times at various points on the podcast. I am dissapoint in you 2 +2 = 5

Fair enough, Joey. There is sense to your story and I respect that. I am also sorry you are disappointed in me, though I wouldn't blame you. I still don't really regret this, though. This NoelHayes stuff is absolute BS and seriously dishonest. To be perfectly honest I would forgive the Isildur stuff, I guess he technically cheated him, but it was certainly more vague and he was young. Would I personally have done the same a that age? Most likely. The stuff with you was certainly suspect and that did happen on the podcast. Surely you can see how it seemed suspect? As I said earlier, it's when you combine the 3, a picture begins to form that doesn't at all paint Stinger in a good light. I just don't think it should be overlooked. At the time of the podcast I didn't think much of it tbh but as I said when all these things combine...

I just think he should be accountable and it was suspect so I brought it up.

It is a very good point you make (overlooked by me) that you lost back a fair bit of money after that due to playing after raging, which would be less likely if Stinger was playing your acc (no disrespect to your game.)

I think it would have been super suspect had it been one off month and then I went back to playing much lower stakes in a completely different approach/style but that wasn't the case. I had +- 60k sessions in both Vancouver/Australia while posting about it on everywhere. I am extremely careful about what I say and don't say on the podcast and streams, I would never say that to Stinger if he was the one playing. I also believe he was playing a longer session prior to me sitting at that table and then just wrapped it up a few hands before that HH happened. I can probably remember why I played in each spot/seat I did during that month/year, almost all of the 50bb+ HHs/why I did what I did, every single players habits against me and so on.

In general I try to be careful what I say about myself or about other people. I usually say way to much about myself and my own life. A lot of people tell me things and say plz don't say this on the podcast. I've probably heard this 20 times so far in Vegas. We've never played at the same table

I think Joey is too well off at the moment for not having had that action himself. Not like he could've made enough money to YOLO-do-what-he-wants for so long if it was Stinger who made money on his account.

Yes, this is a simultaneous insult and compliment.

You're also misrepresenting Lee Jones statement as he acknowledged the unethicalness of ghosting while pointing out that it's impossible to enforce.
Is coaching "ghosting"? I've always viewed it as turning over the account to someone else, not getting advice while playing. But it's a thin line and maybe I'm wrong.

I am not judge and jury here and I genuinely didn't want to think any bad of Joey as I think he is honest, but I still think it was ok to mention it in regard to Hastings. I also believe him now with what he says. He has come in here within a few hours of his name being mentioned and explained things with a cohesive explanation that makes sense. I also remember reading some of the blogs from Aus and I'm sure they are still somewhere to prove dates etc. Meanwhile Hastings has been mute for how long is it now? If he too comes in and explains himself re: NoelHayes then I have no problem admitting I knew sh i t & was talking through my behind.

If you lie down with dogs....

As somebody who used to play a lot online and finally realised i suck and quit , i can say even i still watch your PLO vids for entertainment and still enjoy them despite not having played a single hand for a few years i certainly feel you should not be so defensive, Its clear to see you are one of the good guys but you should expect a few questions when dealing with so many people in HS IMO.

Just remember in life those who succeed are frowned upon in general and more so in the poker community, When so much **** gets thrown around concerning the big winners (rightly so) it is very hard to keep a clear mind, The fact is so many HS players seem shady as *** but those at the top of many profit based fields seem to be in this dog eat dog world....its a shame but c'est la vie.

The Ginger One should own up to this though, 100% he is guilty of MAing and when he does i hope all bets are cancelled for those on the wrong side.

I think I've done a better job over time of being less defensive but also I think this might be a case where you should be.

When i was shopping with him in sydney where he was buying shirts for 1.5k/piece i didnt see any stinger around.

That whole noel hayes thing is ridic scummy though but i see also partly stars mistake there. Shouldnt be so hard to find out theres something fishy, close account, redistribute funds, lifetimeban for stars, ft and any stars live event.

AND THEN LETS SEE HOW MANY GUYS TRYING THAT MA ANGLE IN FUTURE

not sure what is tracked by hsdb anymore but here's the breakdown from their point of view.

unless i missed something joey hasn't commented on the accusations towards brian either which i think further incriminates stinger. from what i've gathered they are very close thus should have each other's backs at all times EXCEPT for when it may hurt their own reputations.
