there's already 24k dead in the pot, he's getting like 1.8-1 on his money. he wins a hell of a lot more than 1900 by calling against the range you listed. more like 14k.

its funny cuz i was just reading supersystem section on omaha and they recommend this kind of fold vs alot of action because u could be getting freerolled etc

Call the first re-raise and turn-shove any non-club, Jack or 10.

I'm fairly sure that's why Clayton thought this was the worst play in the history of the WSOP, not because the guy folded the nuts, but because he committed the cardinal sin of 3betting without a plan.

He blew it when he raised to 11k then.

This fold isn't nearly as bad as many of you seem to think.

After the 4 bet for all the chips (I presume) if you think you can narrow him down to JTc then it may have actually been a good play (albeit a nitty one) incredibly enough.

From the other guy's perspective holding JTc....this is the type of opportunity I drool for. Where I can already pretty much tell that my opponent likely has the flop-nuts without the re-draw and is going to be happy to give me that freeroll on him.

Happens most frequently with JTs vs. some other JT or AKs vs. some other AK I think.

For some reason it reminds me of the main-event I played in 2005 where I got all-in preflop with KK against a really nitty player UTG who was very obviously holding AA and I really really thought about getting away...but it was KK obviously and I was bullying the table a little bit so he could have been playing back at me with AK or QQ or something maaaaaybe just because of my aggressiveness...plus by that time we had too many of our damn chips in there for me to not call his all-in push unfortunately (I too was guilty of bad 3-bet sizing!!)

When you raise for information and your opponent gives you the information you were looking for, you just have to be diciplined and make the fold
