As I have matured in age over the 8 or so years I have been playing poker I have come to realise that poker is sexy and snazzy on the surface and attractable on TV, but scratch a little beneath the surface and it's just a dark, seedy, grim and bleak world.

Eli, Lindgreen, Brad Booth, Chino, Lederer, Ferguson, Townsend, Hastings, Qureshi, et al would have been the faces of poker I saw on TV shows like HSP, PAD, WSOP back in the day. Now look at them.

Plus a few more of the big names have been involved in questionable practices as of late.

Thank God I never was delusional to want to try and make the 'big time' stakes and poker fame. I just enjoy playing online, on my own dime, where I still enjoy the game and never cross anyone and equally, never put myself in a situation where someone could cross me.

Ambassador Glantz did not play last summer ...he played ONE summer and got killed. I saw him there a couple of months ago, not playing and sitting behind someone. He did bring the fish to the game, his buddy , so that was nice
