Jim Bechtel - 1993 Main Event champion - at #15 with 500k +.

This very solid player can be very dangerous with a big stack.

The Main Event everybody:

Irena Batorevich Slow Rolls With Aces, Scores Knockout

Irena Batorevich opens to 3,600 from the cutoff and the table folds around to a player in the big blind who three-bets to 18,000.

Batorevich then clicks it back to 38,000 and the big blind quickly announces himself "all-in". Batorevich asks for a count to compare her own stack to the all-in amount, as both players appear to be evenly stacked.

The dealer counts it down and the final amount falls just under 180,000. Batorevich then begins to inspect her stack, counting down every last chips that she has in front of her before verbalizing "call".

The player in the big blind confidently tables KK and stands, thinking he has the best hand only to see Batorevich table AA .

The entire table shoots away from the table, some in laughter, some in shock, with the big blind turning to furiously say to Batorevich, "You f****** slow rolled me!"

Batorevich doesn't have any response at first but does after the board runs out , shouting, "Yes!" as the river card falls and locks up her knockout and near double up.

The eliminated player continued to glare at Batorevich on his way out the door, motioning to the tournament screen above mumbling, "One hundred away, one hundred away."

Irena Batorevich - 330,000

I laughed.

As for the Hellmuth cooler, the one thing that bugs me about him is that he berates the dealers for cold decks and going card dead. The douchey, self-promotional stuff, the costumes, the "I can dodge bullets" drivel, the white magic — that stuff is rather entertaining to me.

But his attacks at dealers is the one time when I wish I could grab a step stool and punch him in the face.

Phil lost nothing on that hand compared to what he should've so idk why he's berating anyone. (though I'm presuming it was misreported because lol @ just calling 55 on that board with that action)

GL to kelly minkin & fatima moreira, would be nice to see a deep run by a lady, also jake cody got a stack at 380k if he gets anymore he's 1 to watch.

But i do hope mikey get a deep run, if anyone deserves it Matusow does. I have a feeling a well known name is gonna make a deep run into Nov9 territory.

Would love to see a UK or Irish player make the Nov9, as it would make for a great rail.

Mike had another one of his "Matusow moments"

He probably sold more than 100% of himself and had to avoid cashing.
