False, Zelenskyy did not cancel elections. As you've been told multiple times now, elections are not held when the country is under martial law.

Are you suggesting that Zelenskyy declares martial law and the parliament approves it not because of the invasion and existential threat that Ukraine faces, but so that Zelenskyy can remain in power without an election?

from the latest WOTR episode on youtube: the two biggest motivators for getting "volunteers" for Russia's assault groups are execution/threat of execution, and also wives/girlfriends saying they need more money.

lozen: War on the Rocks. They are pretty much the best source for info on Ukraine.

This was not about recruitment, but about how troops are "motivated" to go on assaults with large casualty ratios. The two biggest motivators are threat of execution and girlfriends/wives telling their partner they could use the extra money.

putin took office three decades ago and has subsequently won all his 'elections' by about fifty percentage points over the closest 'rival'

zelensky took office four years ago and suspended elections due to the fact that there are 300,000 enemy combatants roaming around in his country

Where the idea that Zelenskyy wants to stay in power, and is even faking the need for martial law (or he orchestrated the entire invasion), came from is beyond me. He ran on only wanting one term. He said he will not run again after the war. There's no reason not to believe him.
