No doubt countless people justifiably feel this way, but you can't actually think that's true. I'd happily bet even money

The cop who shot Philando Castille was unanimously acquitted in this same county.

i like most cops. there are bad and good apples in every profession. in the cop profession, if you are bad, people can die, minorities can get locked up without justice...it's like a soldier. The My Lai massacre was one of the most horrific incidents of violence committed against unarmed civilians during the Vietnam War. A company of American soldiers brutally killed most of the people—women, children and old men—in the village of My Lai on March 16, 1968...

under stress people can do horrific things. don't think you are immune. i probably am now somewhat immune, as an old man, but as a dumb f 20 something? who knows wtf i could be influenced into by the group.

no excuses for this cop and those that watched. that is on them in any system of blame. it is their karma they brought it in and they killed a man. f them. but some cops lack a fear mechanism in the brain, like a race car driver or test pilot or mob murderer...they use it for good and it is pretty good that we have these wolves to keep the wolves off our door or...what was that quote...

with the wolves i was thinking of that movie training day...

Hung jury on state charges, which were dropped when the officer pleaded guilty to federal charges. If this turns out differently, I guess that's the difference between a Minnesota jury and a South Carolina jury.

If it turns out differently, we'll know it's because burning the precinct down worked. Power concedes nothing, etc.

anatta,

Love ya, buddy, but if 3 cops kneel on a guy and kill him, and 20 of them guard the neck kneeler's house, and 1000 don't do anything, you got 1023 bad cops.

Not the first time Wookie has decided to take the 5th when seeing if he is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

That is the surest way to know that someone is just trolling, and doesn't believe a word of what they are saying.

Biden has some fine words, even referring to the country's 'original sin' (founded by slavers, for slavers, to perpetuate slavery in defiance of Lord Mansfield's ruling in the Somerset Case). Won't make a blind bit of difference, though. It's just 'thoughts and prayers.'

To be fair they’re only going to say that to remind their base that their base isn’t racist for saying the same things

The surest sign of whether someone is "trolling" is whether they are willing to bet money on the outcome of a murder trial?

Hahahahahahahahahaha. You don't even disagree with Wookie! You've been on a posting spree of citing all the cases where cops didn't get convicted of killing unarmed people as a reason to argue against arresting Chauvin! Is contradicting yourself to own the libs a sure sign of "trolling"?

idk the details of cops guarding doors, etc. i saw the video. unreal, but that maybe my problem...it seems unreal to me but that is how it is in reality. maybe because i never saw combat, my challenges are because of my own Mind nobody really oppresses me, i can always eat, drink, jerk off and get fat any time i want. i see young people today, it's like i see the nba today...these guys are doing things, drilling things, knowing things, that put what i had to compete with on the mere high school court for me and in the professional realm...to shame. same with kids, kids who want to achieve dont have the luxury to be "beat" read poetry, write for fun not some "brand"... or "cultivate insight via a long prolonged derangement of the senses"...you have to be a nerd. it's a different world. not only dont i have the answers i doubt i even know the questions.

I am not agreeing with Wookie's hyperbole (or hyperbole the other way there is no way he could be acquitted). But then again, I don't think he really agrees with his hyperbole either. He is just virtue signaling.

I don't know exactly what the line would be, or even have a great general idea, but I would definitely say it is greater than 10% he is convicted of murder and less than 90%.

If you have a very strong opinion he will be acquitted, maybe you would be interested in exploring a wager?

When you say the cop shouldn't be arrested because we don't know if there's enough evidence to secure a conviction (citing prior instances of cops killing unarmed people and getting away with it), it's your superior nonpartisan thinking at work. When Wookie says he doesn't think the cop will be convicted, it's conditioned virtue signaling.

I wasn't even aware that I had declined a wager, but I guess a couple posts, one of which I argue in favor of my position, and another that doesn't mention it, is proof enough.

I certainly never said this. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you are just very emotional invested and it is inhibiting your ability to process clear information.

Thayer offered you a wager that should be very +EV from your perspective. I guess you didn't notice. It is probably not too late.

Minneapolis Police doing what comes naturally, again.

If anyone doesn't know Dan Kaszeta, he lives in London now, but is a former CBRN (Chemical, Bacteriological, Radiological & Nuclear) defence specialist with the US Army and later the US Secret Service White House Detail.

--Those cases were just of the top of my head. There are obviously many more, with similar outcomes.

--And in this case because there is rioting and the main officer was white and the victim was black (which was not the dynamic in any of the other cases) charges should take 2 days? And it is an obvious slam dunk case that should be rushed, despite the fact we have seen acquittals over and over and over for cases just as bad where DA's had years to prepare?
Hahahahahahahahahaha. My favorite part of your posting is where, in repeatedly trying to virtue signal your objective-thinker bona fides to the world, you just repeatedly end up clowning on yourself like this.

The Minneapolis PD is something else. Just totally out of control.

That quote clearly is not me suggesting what you are claiming. So it looks like I was correct. Your emotions are causing serious impairment.

You: complain about libs wanting the cop charged, specifically citing all the cases where cops got away with it similar to Wookie thinking this cop will get away with it
Me: "When you say the cop shouldn't be arrested because we don't know if there's enough evidence to secure a conviction (citing prior instances of cops killing unarmed people and getting away with it)"
You: THATS NOT WHAT I SAID

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Oh wow, you are ****ing special

Again. You are not accurately representing what I said or meant. This is starting to turn into a Fly conversation, where it just gets bogged down in you continually misrepresenting what I said.

I think we are both just going to have to accept you are unable to understand what I am saying, and we are going to have to move on. Blame it on my inability to communicate effectively if it helps, although I don't appear to have such difficulties with a lot of other posters, even ones that agree with me on very little.

I would guess it is the highlighted. I don't think he has a twitter council providing him bullet points for his middle of the night tweet storms. But it is Trump, so I guess anything is possible.

Both. The two statements you are comparing are quite dissimilar. If you need a detailed explanation, feel free to PM me and I'll write you one later.
