So the truth is out. brexit was just cover for your far right trumpian agenda. jalfrezi was right after all.

Is there? I thought the Politics forum you were modding was closed because of racism. Don't you remember?

Great so now you want us to tackle climate change while pushing your divisive attitude towards any tory voters who agree with us? marvellous!

Yes, you post there remember. It's probably a far better place for you to spread your hate towards people who want to tackle climate change just because they don't agree with you on other things.

More nonsense.

Remember, you're the person who absented himself as mod of the forum here just as racists were gleefully running amok because an anti-racism protester was killed, if you remember.

If you don't remember, I'm sure I can quote the relevant posts to jog your memory, if you'd like me to. So let's have no doubt as to who the actual hateful people are.

All of which of course is why you edited your quote of my post to remove

I appreciate why you would rather deflect but you really should have a rethink because working together to build a consensus on tackling climate change is many magnitudes more important than any need to be divisive.

Then you need to stop swinging at others on the left, if that's what you are, and stop molly-coddling deceitful people who between elections claim their main interest is in the environment but during an election campaign it's all about hating parties with progressive policies.

I don't believe you're stupid enough to be taken in by people like that, so there's clearly something else at play, and perhaps that something is the reason why you only lurk and daren't post over at the new place.

Some honest soul-searching on your part is called for.

It's tough to have an informed view on the merits of HS2 but I think this is probably an extremely good decision.

What about 5G and Huawei. I like the decision by boris on that as well (if he sticks to it)

I'm not informed enough on that. On HS2 I did some reading and what is being portrayed in the press is very different to the reasons for doing it and what they actual benefits are.

HS2 will just lead to people on London salaries moving even further out into the provinces in search of cheaper housing, as happened when the M25 was built (as those who remember will attest, though it also wasn't designed with commuters in mind).

People in the provinces will be priced out of their own housing markets and will be forced to move away from their families, leading to an even more fragmented society, exacerbating the already dire child and elderly care problems.

Have you ever been to Birmingham? It's a gridlocked dump. If HS2 has the same effect there as the re-generation of Manchester, then that's a universal benefit for everyone who lives in the area.

Butler's response - no surprise that it was so terrible given that she supported Corbyn every step of the way.

What is the shadow for *equalities* of an institutionally racist party doing running for anything? It's insulting. Butler is one of these clowns who shouldn't get anywhere near Starmer's cabinet - along with Burgon. Labour should expel Racist Grandpa, McDonnell and Chakrabarti + probably Abbott too.

I don't like Rayner but she's going to win Deputy, Long-Bailey is a joke but Starmer has to give her like Shadow Home Secretary before easing her out in a couple of years. Nandy Shadow Chancellor + prominent places for Allin-Khan and Murray (all three are great) please.
