Now go make your donation.
I’m asking if the Holocaust happened. Not “seemed to have happened,” did it happen.

You asked if I answered the question and offered to pay $20 to see the post where I answered.

I answered it, showed you the post where I answered it just as you asked for, and now you need to make that donation to the Holocaust Museum.

Here is the link they take Paypal.

Seems like you lost your bet, since you never really answered the question properly. Good thing you did not go with your Paraguant betting strategy in this case.

All the best.

If I were being asked to adjudicate on whether LB admitted that the holocaust happened and that TT should donate $20, man, I'd be torn, because kinda, but with the implication of doubt. LB, you could do a good thing and say something like 'I 100% believe the holocaust happened' and I'll pitch in £15 too.

FWIW, I've read my grandfather's diaries, and I saw his tattoo, so I know that the holocaust did happen.

Just checking if you can acknowledge any objective yes or no questions. I guess it’s weirdly good for you that it seems to be pathological rather than confirmed holocaust skepticism.

I wasn't being asked to show the post where I admit it happened, I was asked to show the post where I answered the question about it, which I absolutely did

Keep your £15. I'm not even 100% that I'm drinking a Bordeaux right now. It says that on the label but I have no idea where those grapes were grown

Unfortunately your money is pretty safe. Not sure why anyone believes there is more than 0% chance that dude thinks it actually happened. At best he may say "well, something seems to have maybe happened, but who really knows" but for this specific topic that is inane and he should just say he does not believe it happened or if he wants to be coy say he does not believe it happened in the way the overlord media FBI CIA PTA media says or whatever. Better option is he sticks to Avril Lavigne clones and UFOs and cloud trails.

Here is an interesting video about UFOs Lucky, and not a UFO people are nutty one as well.

You were asked to show the post where you unequivocally said the holocaust happened. You haven’t done that. “Seems real” leaves room for doubt as the quote from wazz points out as well. Just bizarre that you can quote something and ignore the point that everyone is making.

Fwiw I already addressed this last week even though I said I wouldn't. Since I was talking about a bunch of other things Trolly caught me at a good moment, but if you think I'm going to indulge this inanity any further without telling each and every one of you to go **** off then you are mistaken.

Now someone needs to make Trolly pay his $20 to charity.

And I don't care if there is room for doubt btw.

I was born in the 1980s. I've never been to Germany, or Poland, or anywhere near there. I've seen Schindler List but I'm not an historian and I've read zero books on the Holocaust.

You're not getting some unequivocal answer out of me because I only give those out for things that are unequivocal. But fwiw it does seem to have happened but I wouldn't tell you that I'm 100% that George Washington was a real person. Probably he was but again, not an historian.

ya but what do you think? from the context of the conversation.

was it a "seems real (but...)"

or

yep that seems real

I'm not asking for genuine 100% certainty. I don't even have that level of certainty that gravity is real, or evolution, or that I'm not a brain in a vat, or that an evil demon is deceiving me. I'm simply asking for the shorthand version we give of effective certainty. I.E. you can allow the same amount of doubt that the holocaust happened as you have doubt over whether some part of your body is making contact with the earth in some way, just as long as you say 'I unequivocally believe the holocaust happened. I effectively have no doubt.' I'm going to raise my bid to £30.

So please list some things you consider unequivocal.

A historian. Not an. Really bugs me. If you pronounced it 'istorian' then fine. But you don't. So it's A historian. I don't care if there's a style guide out there that disagrees with me, that style guide is unequivocally wrong.

Now that simply requires an acknowledgement such as "yes The Holocaust happened" or a denial of it happening aka a "no it didn't happen" answer.

I bet you won't answer the question, so stop lying that you did.
To which you answer, not with yes or no, not with 100% did or didn’t but:

I understand that that’s the best you can do but it’s not the answer that was requested.

In writing it's probably wrong but in speech that H is getting dropped a lot, hence it's going to be reflected that way in fast casual writing. I'll address the substantive part of your post in my next post.

It’s kind of both. The former seems to be his version of the latter.

That one he did give as direct an answer as he gives on things, hence more attention to UFOs and mist trails should be his focus.

You mean things that I don't have personal experience with?

I think the Fukushima earthquake happened. I believe that Paraguay is a real country.

Were those Chilean miners actually trapped in a mine for however long they were said to be down there? Probably sure but idk.

Then fill in the blanks. It demonstrates that you were asked for an unequivocal answer and you didn’t deliver what those people asked for. It’s not really up to you to say seems is equivalent to yes or no in their eyes. They clearly don’t think so.

No. I was asked for the post that showed me answering the question, which I provided.
