I'd suggest starting here:

Rakeback/VIP requests click here

And you might find this thread yours was merged into to be helpful.

Heh, I know it is long (although you should change your posts/page setting), but you could start toward the end and work back. It's not so much that you need to read the whole thing anyway; you'll likely get responses to your post. It's just nice to keep the discussion to one thread. We were getting multiple threads about this every week previously, and it gets confusing. Since this thread is post-BF, it should still have a lot of relevant information.

I don't think there's any high-traffic sites for US players signing up new accounts to get rakeback, but Everleaf and Yatahay are both on the rise and probably your best bets. Cake would be a contender, but the sticky in this forum about the site is causing most people to steer away.

am i correct in that merge rakeback is no chance?

They stopped the rakeback program for new players on June 1, and I believe they stopped taking new US players a few weeks ago.

damn that sucks....although I looked through the affiliates and I had a playersonly.com sportsbook account from 10 years ago that is now on the merge network...is it worth it to be on that network if i already have an account grandfathered in?

or is it a big warning sign that they aren't taking anymore US Players....feels like i seen this one before

Anyone have any experience with Bodog? I read in another thread that they have fast withdraws. How are the 10NL-50NL games compared to Stars/Merge?
07-03-2011 , 02:35 PM
Had a nice run going(in play chips of course) on Full Tilt. They're now shut down completely, so I was wondering where I can find a decent game. I'm not talking Zynga on Facebook or heading over to Yahoo or anything like that...any US players actually still playing for real money? Dunno if I wanna risk anything at this point though...is Stars still open for play money?
07-03-2011 , 04:36 PM
is Bodog still open to US player registration?
07-03-2011 , 04:46 PM
I opened an account with Bodog yesterday. Funded in with my Visa Card, I havent been able to do that for years. I'm also in the US.
07-03-2011 , 04:54 PM
I already play on merge and there's not enough ppl so I need a 2nd site ur guys opinion what's the 2nd best site out there?
07-03-2011 , 05:43 PM
What stakes/games do you play? Cause there's a fair amount of players on Merge. Assuming you're a US player this is pretty much the highest traffic you're going to find.
07-03-2011 , 07:30 PM
Everleaf(i play on patriotsofpoker) has soft cash games.
07-03-2011 , 08:12 PM
Just played on Bodog with what I had left on there from years ago...a few bucks. Now I'm broke and without a Visa. DAMN.

Depending on the stakes and how many tables your looking for out of a second site you may want to take a look at Minted Poker and True Poker. They both offer fast Cashouts. The games are softer then Merge currently, IMO. They both offer RB and First Deposit Bonus and some other Promotions(Rake Races/Chases, etc...) through some affiliates.

Online Poker will be legal within the next year! I truly believe this fight with FTP, P-Stars and Cereus will not trickle down to the smaller networks! There are already many congress and senator members siding with the PPA, and there are bills trying to be passed! It will get there sooner or later! The fight against online poker is not worth it and I think the US is slowly realizing that the people are gonna do what the people want to do! Get an account on a small network, built and bankroll and wait for online poker to be legalized, cause it will be! US is not gonna hassle the smaller networks!

Yes Doyles Room is taking US Players. They are now on the Yatahay Network with True Poker and some Sportsbooks.

Minted Poker (Everleaf Network) offers Western Union Cashouts in about 2-3 days. I've done multiple Cashouts all successful within 2-3 days. My last one was requested Yesterday and I received the confirmation email and should receive code tomorrow.

True Poker (Yatahay Network)offers fast checks. The last one I received was ordered the day True Poker's domain was seized. I received in just under 2 weeks. Multiple Cashouts all in less then 2 weeks by check.

Bodog- No personal experience, but are widely reported to have fast cashouts.

Merge offers checks and are currently experiencing significant delays. That being said, there are some skins (Example: Lock) that do not use the Merge Network Cashier that players are reporting faster Cashouts.

Cake offers checks and have been slow with Cashouts for some time. As with Merge some skins on the Cake Network have fast Cashouts(Example: Pokerworld).

If you are putting money online, make sure you do your homework and research any room that you are considering. Make sure you are aware of any delays and issues that room is having before making a deposit. This will help you to avoid getting upset if there are issues.

Finally, make sure to contact your Congress Critters to show support for US citizens to play Online Poker.

This. But be aware that your money isn't 100% safe anywhere

But that list includes merge, but I thought they had completely stopped accepting new U.S. players...

So, what sites are still accepting NEW U.S. players?

Of the ones that are, which are best for rakeback and traffic?
07-06-2011 , 02:35 PM
Merge said they would be opening back up to new American players soon, right?
