Where Can US Players Play? Where Can US Players Play?

07-06-2011 , 02:58 PM
Of the sites that can be played on in the U.S. still, and are also still accepting new U.S. customers...

which have sufficient traffic to get in enough volume?

Which are best for rakeback?

also, which, if any of them, are good for SNG's, and SNG traffic/volume?

god, congrats on starting the 250th thread about this.

Also, you ask very vague questions.

Hummm... if this is sarcasm, well than, ... ok, whatever.

Because they seem pretty straight forward to me.

I suppose some of them could be somewhat opinion oriented, but that's fine, that's what I am looking for... or just answers of any kind more useful than yours...

What would the Malta license have to do with accpeting US players?

Everleaf is licensed by Malta LGA and they accept US players.

That being said, they haven't set any time frame and it's unclear when and if they will reopen to US residents.

What an anomaly it is that a US citizen can legally play on-line poker, and there is no one in the nation that can legally provide the product.

I probably was spending to much of my free time grinding away at the tables, so to replace my lost supplement income I work overtime instead. There is no doubt my hourly rate is now more, but I'm starting to get ipoker withdrawal.

I haven't found any half assed site to accept my American money since BF.

I live near the Canadian boarder and recently started dating a girl that lives there. She said she would open up a stars account and let me play, but will she really? I don't think she understands the time element, and if I'm over there she will expect me to spend some quality time with her, when all I will want to do is play.

What a bunch of *h*t this thing has become.

At least I got my roll off of tilt in time. I really feel for you guys that are stuck with those bastards. I went through the netteller thing, but this is so much worse.

i play mostly PLO and i noticed theirs like 600 players on not to much PLO action going on what other site can i use? carbon?
07-06-2011 , 10:47 PM
Bodog has pretty good plo action, Cake has more PLO action then Minted but not as good as Bodog. However, Bodog's turnaround times on their cashouts are way faster then Cake's, so I would recommend Bodog.

They have been around since 2009 and have about 6,500 players on real money right now. Quite a few of the players are from America.

I don't know about their track record, but their customer support is fast. It's like yahoo messenger.

I tried to find some info about them on google, but most of results were in chinese. So it's pretty underground. I opened up an account and deposited $100 with a prepaid visa and it went straight through. I did however talk to an America at a table and he said that he left from Full Tilt and he has cashed out twice from this site, but the amounts were kinda small. ($400 and $700) He also said that they asked him for some additional information before he was able to cash out, all went well.

So far so good. I like the site a lot. If anyone wants the site, PM me. I am NOT about to post it on here!
Problem is your account here is too new to receive PMs, so that is not possible.

god forbid u post the name and the site actually gets some traffic. good job genius

I was unaware that BetOnline (an independent sportsbook I believe) recently opened up a poker room that is open to US players. No network to draw player liquidity from, but they have been around for years as a sportsbook.

Has anyone tried this site? I can't download the client while at work to see, but I'm curious about the traffic and cashout situation.

Hmmm... Pretty interesting. May be worth a look, but I wouldn't expect a lot of traffic yet. Find anything on RB?

I can't download the client to look at traffic without registering. Is anyone else able to see what kind of traffic is in the lobby?

Looking at the Help/About - it is apart of the HeroPokerNetwork, which I have never heard of but goggle shows results for the network and other sites such as bigpondpoker also never heard of it..

Is it really impossible to play online for real money in the US, or is there a way around it?
07-08-2011 , 12:37 PM
Really, ... if not a level .. there are sights do a little research then think it is rigged.

Any good ones?

Looking at Poker Player Cafe and a couple others.

Any decent/safe ones?

If you had to chose between Minted Poker or Cake Poker which would you choose?

Also, since I can't get rake back on Bodog or Carbon/ Lock Poker, do they have good promotions that would make it worth it? Does either of these sites Run good multi-table tourneys cause I've been spoiled by Tilt's great tournaments.

Cake Poker is shady - see the stickied thread in this forum about them stealing from a 2+2 player.

I've never played on either, but since Cake steals, I'd go with Minted, which I've seen a couple of good and no significant negative posts/threads about.

What site is the safest place for US players to play right now, if any? I noticed Carbon and a lot of websites aren't offering US players to make accounts right now - are any websites? I searched around but there just seem like so many options I don't know where to begin

EDit: I am an idiot, found thread on page 2 - plz delete
