fwiw I generally agree with what Henry was writing. Someone with a pattern like the ones exhibited has a very hard time overcoming them. Even if they succeed once or twice or three times in making some things right it's extremely hard for them to do the right thing often enough to overcome the fact that turning their back on it is far easier at some point.

I would say it's hard enough that as long as the degen can't manage that at which they are degen at they are bound to utterly faily eventually at it completely.

My experience from personal issues, staking ventures, loaning friends money, and working closely with attorneys for many years tells me Henry is far more right than wrong on the crux of his message.

I certainly hope Roman still proves him wrong in this case.

Why are you hiding this from your wife? The longer it presses on the sooner she is going to find out. If you had a lick of sense you would have come clean with her right off the bat and save yourself a ton of grief. If youre self employed, why do you have to drive to work? If you have an office, why are you still renting it? Do you have a house/apartment? If so, why havent you moved somewhere else thats more affordable? Have you no possessions that can be pawned or put on craigslist? Your wife leaving you would be a terrific result assuming she takes the baby, because that would cut your expenses dramatically.

Yup, looks like he was just trying to buy some time so he would withdraw the money without FT freezing his account. You guys should have reported him ITT when he didn't ship the money, now instead of 1 person getting scammed you guys let other people get scammed.

He pm'd me 3 days ago that he'd ship some money that evening and since then there has been no money and no reply from him, so I fear the worse too.

I don't mind a delayed payment as long as he keeps in touch but now he seems to be dodging us.

I believe that more payments that you said were coming didn't end up getting shipped and then you completely vanished for a few days. So the feeling that you have completely taken off isn't exactly unfounded or anything (especially since others say they have seen you online).
