I was trying to get him to go about paying this up faster. There's no way this should be taking as long as it is. There are other ways to go about getting money. He just doesn't feel like doing it. For a little while I thought there was a chance he could actually go about finding a way to get the money quicker and thus distribute it quicker. He seems happy letting the whole world know about each $30 he's giving to everyone and if he eventually gets it done then I guess that's better than nothing.
I can't say that, "if he pays I guess all is GOOD" though because these people never should have had to wait for their money in the first place.
They aren't really in a position to yell at him and say, "dude...this is stupid. hurry the f up already and just pay me my damn money." However I believe people like me who he does NOT owe money to actually ARE in a position to say that.

I also seriously would like him to recognize his own obvious problem and seek help for it but I don't think that's going to happen.

roman - It was mostly based on your idea of wanting to keep some of the money that wasn't yours and attempt to win a tourney with it so you could pay everyone faster. You made a couple other posts that indicated a potential problem gambling. It was pretty obvious to a lot of people reading this thread. I was just one of those people who said something about it but many people seriously think that just based on what they've read about you here.

Well, yes. But.... wait, maybe it's Bob's fault.

Or his wife's. Or the guys that didn't pay him on time. Anyone but the guy who actually went out and told a whole string of players that he wanted to do P2P transfers, talked each one of them into transferring first,
never even had the funds to complete his side of the deal, and then ran off and donked the money off right in front of at least one of his victims.

MB is actually being charitable. There are only two explanations for this behavior: addiction or plain vanilla thievery/criminality. If someone can think of a third that compelled him to run a scam to gamble, let me know.

As far as paying people back, that's better than not paying people back. But you still scammed them, and all Bob has been saying is that if a thief really wants to make it right, he doesn't start an internet thread updating every petty transfer, he sells his **** at a firesale and borrows and begs and gives blood, etc., whatever it takes to pay them back then, not at his convenience. Yeah, that will hurt. But, you stole the money and its supposed to hurt.

This is good advice. Every time I read Roman's posts I find the guy to be a complete scum bag and a delusional liar. I'm a lazy person who doesn't get involved in other people's business but every time Roman posts I'm one step closer to buying his debt and collecting it myself. The best thing Roman can do is go back to quietly paying everyone and stop posting anything but updates.
