I'm not sure if this is them porting the mobile client in order to eliminate HUD use or what. It makes no sense. They are literally running the mobile client which obviously can't handle multiple tables.

If it isn't reverted or fixed ASAP I suspect most U.S. players are going to play elsewhere. Unfortunately there's not many good options besides Bovada.
This. They will NEVER go back and I'd be willing to bet a huge amount of money on it. I have played on Bodog for almost a decade and they never once reverted a decision no matter how much people complained (and that was when they actually had a rep).

There is literally 0% chance they go back, this is to stay for good.

And I think your last paragraph explains it all. This was done on purpose to drive away the winning players. There rec model was finally vindicated once the biggest site in the world (stars) started following in their foot steps. Now they have to double down.

They would be jumping up and down in office high fiving each other if most of us winning grinders moved to WPN, that is clearly the intention of the update. They have no other tools in the bag since they already eliminated screen names, bonuses, rake back, etc. This is the only step left to make it even more rec friendly.

How is a laggy site "rec friendly"?

I think they will have to fix it. Clearly people play more than 1 tourney at a time even the fish. Again, everyone needs to contact them.

Email sent. Had to spice it up with my own words though.

OK we will see who is right in due time I guess.

Trust me, for my own bottom line I hope you are right would absolutely love for them to roll back the update but I know there is a better chance of us waking up tomorrow to legalized poker in the US then there is for Bovda/Bodog to undo an update.

I agree

Yeah, the update is a head scratcher. I'm not sure who their director is for poker at bovada/bodog, but I have no idea how you're sitting with your team, even trying this once, and saying you should roll it out. Whoever the director is never looked at this and should be held accountable.

Even basic things like font sizing isn't programmed correctly to adjust based on DPI and resolutions. The regs on their sites bring them good money w/o ruining the rec gambler on there. I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish here, but it's inexcusable. No rec or regular will want to play on here.
01-07-2016 , 01:04 PM
But if the lagginess goes away then there isn't much that's different. It seems just the font is changed really. And that needs to be better adjusted.

The lag is what kills it. By far the #1 issue

I just emailed them expressing my concerns, hope we can get the ball rolling.

Also people need to post on their FB Page

literally unplayable, i'll absolutely withdraw my money and go elsewhere if this isn't fixed immediately

All bubbles pop bros!
01-07-2016 , 01:38 PM
We should start a boycott for the next days or so to really get our voice heard(while exploring other options of course)
01-07-2016 , 01:42 PM
Was playing in an MTT and it auto checks or auto pots in certain situations which sort of ****ed me. **** THIS ****
01-07-2016 , 01:54 PM
WPN must be loving this lol
01-07-2016 , 01:57 PM
Some people in this thread are being pretty stupid. Banning HUDs is an example I'd understand, but their update is laggy/ frequently disconnects, which means a rec will run away from the the site just as fast as a reg.

Spoiler:
Subject: Please revert poker software back to 4.25

The update from version 4.25 to 4.27.1 has slowed down the software considerably, created unbearable lag and caused frequent disconnections for nearly every Bodog player.

Every Bodog player is experiencing this, they have created a thread on the twoplustwo forums to voice their displeasure at the new software with hopes that it gets reverted to 4.25, please pass this along to a manager:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...mment-1580370/

It would be great if everyone could send it to them as well. Doesn't have to be at that exact time, but as long they receive a bunch of emails pointing to this thread, then we'll have a much higher chance of being able to get a manager's attention.

Also, I'll be going to bed, so please quote this message here and there when you guys post in this thread, so people can see it. Thanks all, hope they will finally listen to us and clean up this mess.
Everyone please!

I already emailed them. They didn't respond.
01-07-2016 , 02:31 PM
Yeah, I can deal with the ****ty software and all the other baggage you agree to by playing on the site but lag is unacceptable.

Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.

We appreciate your feedback and understand how frustrating adjusting to changes can be. The site you see today gives us a foundation to add many features and functions going forward; it’s not an end product. We're continuously working on updates and hope to show improvement every day.

We encourage you to take some time to navigate around the site and to send us all your suggestions for improvements.

Lol, I give up. Anyone have contacts within the site?

Yea this new software is terrible. Sent an email.

I got a different response. Maybe there is still hope.

Just got the exact same one

I had not seen this thread, and knew nothing about the update. I played for about 5 minutes. Initially I felt it was pretty unplayable, but that I could live with it for a few minutes. My last hand made it clear it really is unplayable. I flopped top pair and bet. The lag was terrible, but finally it put out my bet, which was called. I was not given the option to bet on the turn or river, because the software had timed me out on its own. The "rejoin hand" button appeared immediately on the turn, and I clicked it, but it still bypassed my betting option on the river (when I hit the nuts).

I have sent them an email. There is no way I'd play there again until it is fixed. I'm pretty sure that they will see enough of a dropoff in play that they will have to do something soon.

What I don't understand (and I wrote this to them) is how anyone could possibly have tested this update and thought that it was good. Which suggests that either 1) it wasn't tested; 2) it wasn't tested by a poker player; or 3) whoever tested it is just an idiot or couldn't care less about it.

Always remember that they, like us, have 2 middle fingers and not just one. At least I'll get RB at ACR.

I don't care how bad they make the software. I don't care if they ban HUDs. But the laggy, choppy client is not good for anyone. Rec or reg. Bovada had the smoothest software of any site I've played on besides Merge. They literally ported the mobile client to PC. There are better ways to sabotage the regulars. This is not one of them. They could have just gotten rid of all HUDs.

Not to mention this was live for 2 days on Bodog, they got a lot of complaints yet still rolled it out on Bovada. WTF is going on?
01-07-2016 , 03:17 PM
I will not be playing on their site until it's fixed and I absolutely mean it.

It works out well too bc I am busy today tomorrow and NFL say/sun anyways.

Really hope more people don't log on / write them. Praying for a fix!
