I already contacted the ARJEL one month ago but I got no responses from them so far.
It seems that their role is actually limited to asking PP to reinvestigate the case, nothing more. So if PP tells them that the second investigation is over, no reaction or further investigation from the ARJEL.

I know >20 finnish poker (semi)professionals, less than half of them have accounts on 2+2 and only a few are active posters. Majority of poker players, even regs, don't post here. Especially those from countries like France where lots of people have really poor english skills and they have big national poker community sites. 2+2 is not the world.

Also in some cases they might want to protect their identity and for that reason rather post on gimmick account than real accounts.

I have my own story about PartyPoker and their rude, lying customer support team. I posted it in another part of the forum and was then informed of this thread, I am not surprised, these people are scum.

Here is my story (not as impressive as yours but still)

So I was playing on Party Poker a few months back, I have since gone elsewhere due to this situation.

Some of you who play there may remember this happening a while back, there were multiple tournaments with the status "paused" for a long period of time (days), I contacted support who said the software had malfunctioned and players would be refunded.

A day or so after, a tournament I was in kicked out all the players during the middle of the add on period - some got to add on, but others who hadn't clicked it yet did not. The tournament started up again 5 - 10 minutes later with no more add on option.

Although Party Poker support admitted at the time (when I contacted them) that there was a software problem, the technical team were aware of it, and it would soon be fixed, I lost my ability to add on and they said they would have to think about compensation and get back to me.

Ever since then, they have claimed that the tournament never kicked anybody out, and that because 20 out of 120 people had added on this "proved" that there was no problem with add on.

This is preschool logic at best.

I explained things over and over to them and they continued to claim that that this was proof that there was never any issue.

Not long after, I was sitting on the final table of a GTD tournament and the software started auto-folding me. I checked my connection, their software said my connection was fast. Also I was playing 2 tournys at once and the other one was running very smoothly. I fixed the problem by clicking "sit me out" and then un-checking it afterward, but not after it had folded my pocket AA.

I had noticed that other players have had this problem before because they have mentioned it in the chat window and I advised them to do what I did in order to fix it.

Party Poker were contacted about this problem and they claim that it was a problem with my connection (regardless of the above) and that they had checked and "proved" that their software did not malfunction. They claimed that because I finished 7th and won $34 that this also "proved" there was no problem.

There have been other instances where the break timer has counted down to 0:00 and instead of the tournament stopping for a break, the timer just resets and there is no break.

After explaining all of this to Party Poker many, many times, they continue to claim that they have "proved" that none of this happened and that if it did it was because of my connection (which is very fast).

I'm now playing on ipoker, which has been much better so far.

Thoughts?

^Just to add - After arguing with the customer support guy in India for 4 - 5 hours about being kicked out during add on he offered me $10 out of "good will". *rolls eyes*.

Finally, after struggling for 2 months, PartyPoker let me cash out 7063,78€ that, according to them, haven't been won by fraud. There is still around 3000€ missing and believe me I'm not going to stop at that point.

Glad to hear you finally got paid some of your money. If I were in your situation and knew I had done nothing wrong, I would continue fighting them even if it was only a matter of $1, out of pure principle.

Good to hear...when I read these stories and see them finally cave and give most/all the money back there is a reason they are doing so...they are wrong and trying to save face but all it does is make them look worse. The vast majority of players I am sure just walk away after complaining about it for a few days and they can get away with it.

Glad you have gotten some of your money back. If you have done absolutely nothing wrong I wouldn't stop until ever last cent is back. I am the type that would do so on principle even if I end up in the negative overall because of it. Your name and reputation are worth much more than a couple thousand dollars.

WoW that is sick, why would they offer 2k when you had 10k, they clearly state they messed up by offering a bribe to you to stop bad mouthing them on forums.

If you kept posting about this would they offer you more money....?
