They really have to fix the absurd situation with showdown hands. I CALLED my opponent's 3-BET and IT WAS CHECKED DOWN the whole way but I STILL DON'T SEE WHAT HE HAS in the hand history. How can someone contest the pot as the aggressor and still muck? This wouldn't even be possible in live poker! The only way he could muck is if he did not try to contest the pot. For instance, if he just throws his hand in the muck and does not try to win the pot, that would be OK.

The way Bodog does it, both players would privately show their hands to the dealer. The dealer would then reveal the best hand and ship the pot appropriately. This sort of poker implementation shouldn't be legal and I hope we'll have online poker standards in the near future.

I agree with the sentiment, but isn't the only change here that you can no longer see mucked cards?

You might consider complaining to the Kahnawake gaming commission. Bodog seems to be making rules that don't quite fit with the rules of the game. While you're at it, complain that players should have the right to audit hand histories and see who we are playing so that we can guard against collusion, etc.

Having said that, can someone help me out?

say what?

If the river went check/check, the person 1st to act has to show. There is no aggressor when the river is checked through.

I don't have WU as an option, so the fees might be different, but here's the MG fees (should be comparable)

$100-200=$20 fee
201-400=30
401-600=45
601-800=60

Thanks Betty.

I was afraid they would be high. I've got about $1100 and I'm thinking of jumping ship. Do you know if Money Gram or Western Union charge a fee on top of Bodog's?

they would not charge a fee to you, it's free to pick up money

you have to have a history of depositing with WU/MG though for Bodog to send the money to you (not sure how you initially deposited)

The customer is always right?

After reading so many messages about the new software wouldn't it make sense for the Bodog rep, meaning you Justin, to take a survey about the new software approval among it's customers?

Same here.

I fear that they are now prohibiting U.S. players from participating in real money games.

Anyone NOT from the U.S. have trouble logging in?

I requested a payout from Bodog a while back and received a check for the amount. I deposited that check into my bank account at the end of October and I received the check back today along with an NSF fee when it bounced. Before I start trying to pursue legal recourse, is there some way I can get this fixed? I looked up the place and it looks like a shell company. Has anyone else faced this? I'm even more concerned due to the fact that I'm expecting another payout check and now I'm wondering if it's going to bounce too. Help please!
