I finally got my check from them last week after making with withdrawal on the 15th of Dec. I deposited it earlier in the week and checked my account on Friday and lo and behold, it got returned and I get charged with a penalty.

I emailed them that night and still haven't heard from them. I will try again soon. Anyways, I really hope they resolve all this soon.

Horrid customer service the whole way through. I understand there are issues they have no control over as far as fund transfers these days and I don't blame them at all for that. In fact putting $ back into accounts +bonus is impressive since they are taking a hit on the whole amount. Some basic customer service and communication would help so much though. Seems like such an easy thing thing to do without much expense. Combining FTP software w/PS support would be sweet.

I finally got the 2K+100 credited to my account. Took more than 48 hours, for reference, so don't worry if it has taken more than 24 hours like FT said, as others here have noted.

Hmm.. just got a letter from my bank saying my check is on a 7-day hold because, "we have information from a confidential source indicating this check will not be paid." It was requested and received around the same time as the other bounced checks so I await the inevitable.

I requested a check withdrawal 12/13/10 and it never came. I requested a stop pay on 1/13/11 and the funds are still not in my account. I waited until the tenth biz day to contact them (they said 6-9 days) and received no response. I emailed again 1/28/11 and still no response. I'm not surprised given the information circulating in this thread.

FTP's inability to send even a canned response, just to let us know the lights, however dim, are still on over there, is frustrating. How I long for a canned response! I wish I could call them and play the scene from Fight Club where Tyler Durden is yelling "Please Lou!"

Of the $4,000 of checks I requested, $1250 came in and had bounced. I e-mailed them asking for stop checks and for information on how to potentially receive the $2750 in unreceived checks and the $1250 that was voided; they've since given me back the $2750 plus $200 extra. I e-mailed back asking about the other $1250 though. I should be getting back all of it..right?

I still want to know how to get my money out of my FTP account and into my pocket.

I'm not hearing about problems in other countries - this causes me to think it's specific to the US and FTP isn't going out of business or anything like that. Those of you who think FTP is **** for service have no idea how large the player base is or what kind of an administrative nightmare it is to deal with everything - and then add on top of that our government attempting to stop transactions.

I'm sure marijuana will be eradicated from society in the USA in 6 months or less.

I withdrew by check on 12/10 and then it bounced. As soon as it bounced, I got an email from them and sent in the picture of the bounced check. They still have not replied other than saying thanks for the check image. It has been over 2 weeks since I have heard from them and almost 2 months since my money has been out of my account. Terrible customer service...

When you get back the money from a bounced check what is the best method to use after check? Bank Transfer?

Anyone trying checks as an option this time around? Its back up as a withdrawal method again for me as well.

I'm kind of waiting to see what happens to Suigin406. I wish they could just fund my paypal account. They have 3rd party check processors. Why can't these 3rd party companies just fund paypal accounts?

Don't know what to do .... I'm definitely not comfortable with providing my bank account number and routing information with any entity!

Or better yet, just ship the checks straight to the DOJ.

Finally got my refund today. Decided to try a transfer instead of check this time around.

I got my refund once I emailed them and it counted as a deposit so I get to clear a bonus for the amount of the refund and they gave me 50$ but what I don't understand is I didn't get an email confirming the 50$ bonus I got an email for the deposit but every time I get or send $$$ to and from the account I get an email. It shows the 50 bucks in my account history but wondering what accounts for this anomaly.

edit- Actually the 50$ that was in my account history was the $$$ I got from sng leaderboards haha they didn't ship me the 50$ extra lol

Here's how things have gone for me.

Check requested 1/1/11

After 3 emails, I find that IF the check is received, don't cash it because it will bounce. This is due to a 3rd party processor issue. FTP gives me $50 for my trouble and the delay, then credits the withdrawal amount to my account as well.

After my funds are placed in my account, I request a bank transfer. A few days later, I receive an email telling me that I will not receive the transfer, due to 3rd party processor issue. FTP gives me another $50 for my trouble and has said they have decided to wire the money directly to my account. I am to receive these funds on or just after February 10th. I've also been advised via email that they hope to have the check issue resolved at some point in the future.

Granted, I've had an extra $100 total credited to my account but it isn't much good if I can't actually get the money. As it stands, assuming that I actually get the money - it will have been almost 6 weeks since the initial request.

We'll see what happens.....

Agreed ... I don't need the law showing up at my front door. I'm probably just being silly/paranoid. But our Government surprises me ... however, I'm not surprised that our Government frowns on the amount of rake that is shipped outside of the US.
