Do checks still work now?

i cashed out via check over a month ago and i still havent received my check! i contacted them about it and they said "we have no control over you receiving your cashouts"! thats pretty scary that a company who has as much money of customers as they do has "no control" over it. if they dont control whether or not a customer gets paid then who does? be careful putting your money on this site because it might take you quite some time trying to get it back off!

I just received my check from FT and the bank couldn't process it because the routing number on the bottom of the check was invalid!!

4 months of trying to get a check out of these bozos, finally get it and they can't put the right routing number on it.

What reasonable course of action do you suggest?

Should I request stop payment and funds be put back into my player account - and then do a bank wire?

Do nothing = keeping waiting and hope the check is in my mailbox soon.

Even if you get the check, it might still bounce. Get the stop payment, wait a few days for the funds to be returned to your account, then do bank transfer (not bank wires because you'll be hit with about $50 in fees).

I looked to maybe cash out a bit last night and noticed that there is no check option available, only bank transfer and wire transfer. Also, echecks has been unavailable to me on Pokerstars for some time now and the deposits I've made via echeck on Full Tilt have not yet cleared my bank--from all the way back to Nov 30 of last year. Doesn't look good to me. Maybe I should take it all out now?

YES! if you care about your money you better take it now! Don't look back a year from now asking yourself why you didn't just walk away with it when all the warning flags went up. Just my 2 cents

Deposited today, 11/19 at the end of the day. How long until I tell whether it will bounce or not?

I'd wait 2 weeks to be safe. I've heard people say a week or less but I've seen on the news up to 2 weeks is technically how long it COULD take.

I deposited a check from FT about a week ago and just noticed in my account that same amount was debited plus another $10 debit for the bounced check. It said the bank didn't pay because insufficient funds. This is my first bounced check so I am not sure what to do... What do you do when this happens? I don't have the check anymore as I deposited through an ATM...

The check I received 1/10 bounced. Now I am overdrawn. Sigh....

Ok. Bad news for us all then. NOT GOOD AT ALL.

For anyone that may know, what is the course of action to take with FTP to get our funds back in our account and have sent to us via some other method. I deposited a check a week ago and refuse to spend any of it until a few weeks have passed. This check was only $2xx. My next 4 are a lot more though. Some over a grand.

Send email to cashier@fulltiltpoker.com and they can research and confirm that the check was rejected. Once that happens, you'll get the money back in your ftp account with some type of "apology" bonus.

On the bank's side, they'll snail mail you a copy of the rejected check. You might even get the original check back but I think most banks have stopped doing that.

I know that FTP in the past could look up a check and tell you if it was okay to deposit it. However I heard of a case where it still bounced after ftp said it was good.

Best bet would be to call the issuing bank and confirm that the account is still active and that there are sufficient funds to cover your check.

Are you kidding me? If this is happening to Full Tilt, what makes you think the Department of Justice is saying Screw Full Tilt, but Poker Stars, yea, they're A OK in our books! Get a grip, withdraw your bankroll and move on. Don't let the addiction or "need" for online poker ruin the chances of getting your money now while its still a concievable idea, rather than 6 months from now, or a year, when its impossible due to the DOJ!

Watching bustos tilt over this makes this alot less painful. Will definitely be worth it once I get the $50 bonus.

i recieved 12/3 and 12/4 checks on 1/10/11. I deposited that same day. It has been 10 days and the money is still in my account. I see some others have had bounced checks. Should I expect the same?

^^^ same here. Requested my check on 12/3 and received January 12th or 13th.

The funds still show in my account so hopefully I'm in the clear. Will post back if I find out different.
