Signed up for PKR rakeback last night but haven't deposited yet. On the page, here, it says "use code: welcome5, welcome150, welcome500". But in the client, I am being offered a first deposit deal using the code 'BIGDEAL'. Anybody know whether using this code would prevent me from receiving the rakeback? To be honest I'm not bothered about rakeback whilst I clear the bonus, but wouldn't mind having it after the first month...

I checked their site and found the BIGDEAL stuff

I don't believe this will be a problem with the tracking.

But it will stop you from getting any other sign up bonus and it doesnt sound like you get one here (other than the free stuff)

Hello. I have been playing with RakeTheRake more than 5 years and raked more than 100000$. I didnt have any problems with poker sites. But once it should happened.
I registered an account on Ladbrokes with RTR and started playing there. But when I decided to make a withdraw I saw how it was hard to withdraw your money from this room. I wanted to make a deposit using my Moneybookers account to receive a withdrawal option to MB. But it was unreal to do. Because support of Ladbrokes told me that to make a deposit with Moneybookers I should first withdraw my money. But first deposit I made using my debit card. So they told that I can make a withdraw to my bank account only. Ok, i sent all required documents to them to receive that option. But nothing happened. They just didnt add this option to my account though support told me that they did it. I really enjoyed to play in Microgaming Network but wasnt going to play in a room where I cant withdraw from.
So, after a week or two I registered an account on Betsafe Poker Black also in Microgaming Network. My nicknames on Ladbrokes and Betsafe differs only by 1 letter. This time I deposited using Moneybookers. And because I couldnt withdraw my money from Ladbrokes I decided to transfer it to Betsafe. But because there is no such option in Microgaming like, for example, on Pokerstars and many major poker sites, I had to do it on the table. So, I sat on the table and moved my chips from Ladbrokes account to Betsafe. After that I played a session on NL200 on Betsafe. But on next day I found that my account on Betsafe was blocked. When I contacted with support they told me that I was suspected in chip-dumping. I explained all situation and sent them all documents and screenshots from my page on RTR, my Holdem Manager and even a emails from Ladbrokes that confirmed that I did all required procedures to receive an option of withdrawing.
But they answered me the same thing about chip-dumping and just confiscated my money. But they even dont understand what chip-dumping is. Could anyone explain me why this happened? There is no restrictions for transfers between different people on many poker sites, but in this situation I just moved my money from one account to other. No third players were inflicted in this situation. I can prove my words providing a handhistory from HM from both accounts.
I also sent an email to Maltese LGA who licensed Betsafe. What else should I do to return my money?

Couple of questions about the RTR Betfair iPad Mini race.

Can I assume the stats are the same for the $8k race the Mini race, as the Mini race has not been updated since 6th Dec.

Secondly, According to my calculations, the race to 9000 points looks set to end sometime over the weekend, with Friday or Saturday seeming likely to be the last day. Now given stats aren't updated over the weekend, how we will know if we made it in time, as the updated stats on Monday 17th will have included all the play over the weekend?

Apologies if that sounded confusing!

Yes assume the stats for the iPad race are the same as the 8000 race for now though they should have been updated and I will chase up why that wasn't done.

As for the updating of the points - Betfair have the ability to physically see who reached the 9,000 points first so we will update the leader board once we know the first 10 winners and remove any apparent ties

I just visited your site and noticed that you still have Minted listed. All US players had their accounts frozen in Feburary of this year and have had no way to get their money besides opening a non US bank account. This requires one to go to another country to open an account. This is too expensive for most people to do. Considering that ROW players report waiting months for cashouts to ewallets it does not even seem like it is guaranteed to be successful.

Why do you still list Minted on you site?

I didn't know we were supposed to contact you about the issue with Minted. I thought it was understood that they haven't paid a good portion of U.S. players.

I was told that my account on Carbon was tracked for rakeback. When I log into my RTR it says VIP still for Carbon. Just wondering if it will still track correctly on RTR even if it says VIP? I haven't deposited on Carbon cause I was wondering about this issue.

I just got an e-mail from raketherake, about the RPM closing. One of the options for US players was to signup at Juicy (or lock).

I have been waiting for months for a payout from juicy.

I feel you should NOT be encouraging signups from these rooms that can't pay out on a reasonable basis.

When I deposit, they get the money right away. On a withdrawal, the timeframe is totally outrageous.

The fact is as a US player you can choose whether to play poker online or not. If you choose to play then the choice of rooms is limited to about 6 in our opinion.

US processing is notorious for being problematic. So if you do play then in most cases you are going to have to be prepared for delays in processing. Yes some sites (eg Americas Cardroom) are better than others, usually because they have a history of taking Sports bets from US citizens etc.

However we have not slightest hesitation in recommending Juicy Stakes poker which is run by the Cake team to any US player. Of all the characters the run poker rooms in this industry, they are some of the most stand up guys we know. We have worked with them for almost 6 years and the fact they are still operating and paying out (albeit not always in a ideally timely fashion) rather than having done a Full Tilt, Absolute/UB scam job and ripped of thousands of players is testament to that.

I understand that you are frustrated by the speed of the payouts but that is part and parcel of choosing to play there.

I will give them a nudge to speed up your payment for you though
