Howard Lederer has better ratings than PH, it doesnt make any sense by any point of view.

I was kind of surprised at the amount of needling Daniel gave Helmuth in this week's show. Especially at the end where he was bashing PH's play for apparently no reason. I don't watch a lot of televised poker but I don't think I've ever seen Daniel in that way before.

At the End Phil did say that PH was a better tourney player and the line up is tough for him too. No ranting by DN I am the greatest in the world. Problem is Phil Helmuth is very predictable at the table

i would agree with that assesment based on the PAD cashgames... Lederer played better then PH.

Barry gives PH props too, it seemed to me like something in the middle of extreme opinions. + it's barry.

Really ?? This is hellmuths worst performance on pad , He won over 300 in his last appearence . Id gladly book PH over lederer .

look i like hellmuth but Im not dumb to say in these lineups he is by anymeans a favorite , daniel says it best , these guys play cash for a living while guys like daniel and ph split there time between promoting and playing tourneys.

I just think its ludacrious the ppl who come here and say phil sucks , poker has passed him by blah blah , he was playing in a VERY tough lineup and was pretty card dead most of the show and got coolered big time on the big hand he lost . people i believe go too highs with the highs and too low with the low on these boards . Mind you there are alot of biased views on him due to the hatred he has over his behaviour from members of this board.

I'd have to say I overall agree with OP on this issue. I love Neagranu, and without saying "omg I think he's the best ever," he is my favorite player to watch and always thought he was just an all around super nice guy.

That being said I was really surprised to see him take jabs at PH over and over again these past 2 weeks on pad. Also, I'm not saying Hellmuth doesn't deserve some of it sometimes, but it didn't seem like he was really doing anything to bring it on most of the time this week. I don't know if DN has some kind of history with PH that made him do that or not, but just being a general fan of DN and watching him play, I gotta say it was kind of disappointing

Dude I don't care, I just hate those who criticize Hellmuth with no reason, he is prolly the best tournament poker player of all time. Ok, he might not be as good as those nosebleeds in cashgames but nobody can't discuss his success in NLHE tournaments. They have an absolute biased view on his play cus the mix up different things. I don't care if his arrogant, cocky whatever, judge him by his skills not his attitude. He has been crushing the game in the 90s (any1 disagree with it?) and he'd had lots of success after the poker boom cashing several times in the Main Event. Nobody I mean nobody ever answered me with FACTS, do I need to say why?? Period

Sounds fine to me. You don't like it when people criticize Hellmuth for no reason. Others feel that his criticism is deserved since he criticizes others. It doesn't seem like either side is going to change their feelings on the subject, so I think we should just leave it at that and move on with our lives. I know I will.

DN is an ******* because he pokes fun at PH for being a fish at the table - even after admitting he himself is an underdog in the lineup in point.

Fact #2
Although PH tells people they're f---ing idiots, don't know how to play poker, european donks, and will never win anything, it's all cool because he lost a hand, right?
