Because the answer is very clearly "not". Even if Global Poker decides to answer withing the next few days (which they will not), I will not believe them because it took this long to get an extremely simple answer to an extremely simple question.
The fact is, tens of millions (perhaps hundreds of millions) of dollars were stolen from Americans by online poker companies who did not segregate their player deposits and instead spent the player deposits on overhead - OR - simply kept the deposits and shutdown. If you come into this forum trying to sell your site offering service to Americans, you better have an answer to the question:

Regarding GlobalPoker in General, the fact that you, who has been assigned to rep this company on the most prevalent poker forum in existance, claim to not even understand the question shows a complete lack of 1 or more of the following:
Ethics (you are lying)
Professionalism (how can you start an internet poker business and not know what this means?)
Standards (too far below your pay grade to know, yet you rep the company)
Competence (we are now over a week from the original question being asked and you have only delayed the answer)
You may feel I'm coming on strong here, but clearly you have absolutely no idea what anyone went through during black Friday and the fallout from companies failing to segregate player funds.
You may have a shot here given you were somehow able to get a foot in the door, but you better get answers to these questions WITH PROOF very quickly...or GTFO.
