lol. Would be decent if it was 2 mana. Could it work in a Priest velen deck? It's the only spot I can see it in constructed.

Could combo it with a turn four kings I suppose.

Might be really op if there are any spells that give a target an inspire mechanic

It was funny seeing trump burst out laughing when he revealed it.

What? It would be broken as **** at 2 mana! Just sadly the difference between 2 and 3 mana is a lot.

Yeah, I mean Shielded Mini-Bot is already one of the stronger 2-drops, this would just be a better version of that.

This card is just too weak to see play in constructed.

Maybe oil rouge could use it, if you drop it it's super hard to remove, then you can oil it up.

Damn those 3/4 legendaries are nice. Finally some cards to get me excited about this expansion.

Looks like Aug 24th is the expected release date. Someone on reddit said if you set your clock to then the wrapping comes off the preorder (but you crash if you try and open them).

Ah here was the sheet I was talking about.

Apparently it was 3 more neutral legendaries AFTER those two. So still 3 left.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone...all_currently/

(bleh apparently hes gonna add slots for neutrals cause its not 130)

that would make sense if it was the legendaries cap tho

Going by that gives a set of only 96 cards.

edit: they probably just added a row when they added Silent Knight, that's why you were off by one

New card: argent watchman, 2/4, 2 mana, can't attack, inspire: can attack this turn.

Ehhhhhh

The inspire cards by themselves have really been underwhelming individually so far. It makes me think that one offs of inspire cards are not going to slot into existing decks, with limited exceptions. Rather, you're going to have to run inspire style decks to see any real benefit, so that you get multiple inspire triggers at the same time. I guess it's just wait and see as to whether the inspire mechanic is as good as the mechs or as bad as the dragons.

the old "wait and see" approach. but based on what ive seen SO FAR, there is 0 chance an inspire deck is viable

agree the artwork for the watchman is cool. my problem with the card stems from it basically being an ancient watcher but significantly worse. to make the trade in the early game it requires you, on 3 mana, to play a hero power (and not have the 1 drop for 1, so playing 1 drop+hp on 2) seems... unlikely.

The only point Watchman might have in it's favor is that a handlock player is often tapping on early turns anyway, so at least you'd be able to attack with him. But if I was just going to taunt him up, I'd rather have Ancient Watcher's 4/5 body.

When's the good cards?

BRM had me getting hyped with Grim, Emperor, Flamewaker, and IGB.
GVG had Implosion, EoM
Naxx had Loatheb and KT.
Nothing from TGT has me excited.

Argent dumpster. Man a lot of these cards we've seen are terrible. What class is looking to Hero power on turn 3? None of them.

The 3-4 legendaries should.

It's still early.

I'm betting there are going to be some synegry inspire cards that make inspire cards viable. In every expansion sans BRM, they have made the new mechanic/new type of card a very viable almost overpowered deck or archetype.

Naxx had the undertaker/deathrattle construct. GVG had the mechs. BRM tried to have dragons but what really did was added a ton more combos or make them more viable with emperor for a few classes (Mage, Warlock, Warrior, Druid).

I expect a few OP inspire cards, but maybe I'll be wrong.

Handlock wouldn't run a 2 mana 2/4 card even without the text

The inspire cards don't seem to fit in a late game deck they make more sense in a Zoo like deck where you flood the board with minions and hope to get extra value when you have to HP
